His muscles tensed more than ever before, Desert loosened his grip on his spear and launched himself toward Rose, his foot slamming into the ground. He narrowly dodged three meteor shards and swung his spear in a sideways strike, which Rose barely blocked with her hand. But to her surprise, Desert released his grip, allowing the spear to continue its momentum.
A metal chain uncoiled from the opposite end of the spear, and Desert grabbed it, yanking the spear back with even greater speed.
Rose couldn't react fast enough, and the spear struck her directly in the back. But she used the resulting momentum to drive her elbow into his face.
She then spun her body and kicked the side of his head. Notably, flames accompanied her every move, making her attacks much stronger and faster, while also enhancing their overall impact due to the Fire Dance.
