Iji hurried back to Rigel's castle, leaping over the walls without saying a word to the guards and soon finding himself in the main hall. As usual, only Mustang and Secret were present, along with the troops that had been prepared to defend since last evening. Now, the news that would shape the next few days had arrived.
"The Sirius faction began moving toward Rigel's castle a few hours ago, but they made a sudden detour at the last moment and started walking in circles. As for the Rigel faction, they're doing the same thing around our castle," Iji explained all the information he had gathered in detail, his half-closed eyes shining with patience.
Mustang crossed one leg over the other, settling into a more comfortable position on the throne where he sat, his hand resting on his chin as he thought.
