Above the distant wall, a few members of the tribe finally arrived after hearing the loud commotion. The first to appear was a man with a massive build and features similar to Tactus, though he was slightly younger.
This was Desert Drusa, Tactus' eldest son and Fitchner's father. He was the strongest and largest of Tactus' children. Initially, everyone believed he would inherit the flames—until Rose was born and took that right from him.
Even the right to inheritance that he desired was taken away.
But luckily for him, Rose ran away one day, showing no signs of returning, and even Tactus himself could not reach her after years of searching.
Thus, Desert became the rightful leader of the family, even without possessing the flames.
Now, after two decades, he saw his little sister, Rose, wrapped around the neck of his only son, about to unleash a mana cannon to blow his face off.
