The rebellion came to an end after that battle. Margo was finally eliminated from the trial, likely as a failure due to breaking the rules without a chance to correct it.
I suddenly remembered his words, "And who said my goal was to succeed?" I felt a slight annoyance. What did he mean by that? If success wasn't his goal, then what was? Was that battle just for pride?
Or was he trying to show something to the world?
I rubbed my forehead and pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind. There was no time to care about such things now…
After witnessing the brutal display I had unconsciously performed, turning their leader's face into ash, all of Margo's men surrendered, becoming strangely obedient.
