Chereads / I Became the Weakest Demon Prince! / Chapter 11 - Enough of this!

Chapter 11 - Enough of this!

What do you mean, ready to die? Does it look like I have a death wish?

Zarkon is barely holding on, and expecting him to help is wishful thinking.

Facing Garreth solo? That's a one-way ticket to the afterlife.

He killed Eltor! My trainer, someone who is way stronger than me.

Shit! Shit! What do I do?

I kept thinking while Garreth continued walking towards me.

My heart thundered in my chest as Garreth closed the distance, his cold, unforgiving eyes boring into mine.

Every instinct screamed at me to run, but my legs refused to listen to me.

I desperately scanned the ground for a weapon. All I could see were broken swords and shattered shields.

My eyes locked onto a short sword, half-buried in the dirt. I lunged for it, grabbing the hilt and yanking it free just as Garreth swung his axe.

I barely managed to duck, feeling the rush of wind as the axe passed just inches above my head.

I tried to counter with a quick slash of my own, but Garreth parried effortlessly, his axe deflecting my sword with a deafening clang.

The force of the block sent shockwaves through my arm, nearly making me drop my weapon.

"You call that an attack?" Garreth sneered, his voice dripping with contempt.

With a vicious kick to my stomach, he sent me sprawling to the ground.

The impact drove the air from my lungs. I gasped, tasting blood.

Cough! Cough!

I was struggling to breathe.

ARGGHHH!

The pain was excruciating, burning deep in my gut.

I felt like I couldn't move anymore.

Is this it? Am I going to die before I even get a chance to prove myself?

I looked up at Garreth through the haze of pain. His smile was cold, almost amused.

This guy is enjoying this...

The way he looked at me, that sneer—it was all too familiar. It brought back memories of Jason.

That constant sneer of his, the way he enjoyed watching me suffer.

I remembered the humiliation, the pain. Every time he shoved me into lockers, every time he tripped me in the halls.

His cruel laugh echoed in my mind. It all came crashing back.

He always had this twisted grin, like he enjoyed watching me struggle.

That same stupid grin and smirk. Every time I saw it, I felt a rage build up inside me.

NOT AGAINNN!!!

Something inside me snapped. My vision blurred with rage, my blood boiling.

"You asshole...you remind me of a very ugly memory." I growled, my voice trembling with fury.

"A sore spot of mine. And now, you have to pay for it!"

"You think you can take me down? You're just a weakling." Garreth sneered.

I could feel the demonic energy surging within me, a raw, primal force begging to be unleashed.

I'm done being the victim. Done with assholes like Jason and Garreth thinking they can walk all over me.

I remembered Jason shoving me to the ground, the look of glee on his face as I scrambled for my glasses.

The way he laughed when I stumbled through my apology, trying to make things right.

I was always too scared to fight back, too weak to stand up for myself.

NOT ANYMORRRE!!!

I gritted my teeth, my jaw clenched so tightly it felt like it might crack.

You made me feel worthless, Jason. For every time you laughed at my pain.

The demonic energy swirled around me, fiercer and darker with each passing second.

My muscles tightened as raw, untamed power surged through my veins.

My crimson eyes began to glow even brighter as the intensity increased with each heartbeat.

A blood-red glow started to seep into the edges of my vision.

I could feel the demonic energy spilling out, enveloping me in a dark, pulsating aura of black and crimson flames.

The ground trembled beneath me, unable to withstand the force.

"What..?" Garreth's smile faltered and a flicker of fear crossed his face.

He wasn't expecting this. No one was.

The air thickened with my demonic energy, like a storm about to break.

CRACKKK!!

The ground beneath me split and fissured, unable to bear the sheer force of my power.

The dark energy pulsed, sending out shockwaves through the battlefield.

Demons and humans alike froze, eyes wide with shock and fear.

The sky seemed to darken as if responding to my power, and a chill ran through the air.

"What the hell...?" a demon whispered, his voice trembling.

"Am I dreaming? This can't be real.." a human muttered, his face pale.

"So terrifying.." another demon gasped, taking a step back.

"This energy... it's suffocating." a human archer said, clutching his chest as he struggled to breathe.

"I can't move... my legs feel like jelly." another human whimpered, his body trembling uncontrollably.

"I feel sick... like something's crushing my insides." a demon grunted, doubling over in pain.

The energy radiating from me was overwhelming, like a tidal wave crashing against everything in its path.

The pressure made some demons and humans stumble backward, shielding their eyes from the intense glow.

"Everyone! stay alert!" another human swordsman yelled, trying to steady himself.

"We need to get out of here!" another demon screamed, panic rising in their voice as they attempted to flee.

"Retreat! Everyone, retreat!" a human commander barked, his voice barely cutting through the chaos.

Every heartbeat sent another pulse of dark energy rippling outwards, cracking the ground further and creating a visible aura of malevolence around me.

The battlefield, once a cacophony of battle cries and clashing weapons, had fallen eerily silent.

The only sounds were the crackling of the demonic energy and the terrified whispers of those watching.

"This much demonic energy... it's impossible!" a demon stammered, eyes wide with disbelief.

"We need to retreat... now!" another human shouted, panic evident in his voice.

Garreth's hands trembled uncontrollably, his grip on the axe becoming unsteady. Beads of sweat dotted his forehead, his previously confident sneer replaced by wide, fearful eyes.

He struggled to keep his voice steady, but it cracked under the pressure.

"What... what is this?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Taking a shaky step back, he looked at me with wide eyes. "What... what are you?"

"Me?" I smirked, my teeth bared in a feral grin.

"I am your worst nightmare."

"And you will pay for every ounce of suffering you've caused."
