Chapter 106 - A proper introduction and plans for Namek

The Z-Fighters gathered at Capsule Corp, their expressions a mix of anticipation and curiosity as Goku stood before them. At his side, Bell observed the group with an easy smile, his hands resting behind his head.

"Everyone," Goku began, his tone cheerful despite the tension hanging in the air, "this is Bell. He's... well, he's not from around here, but trust me, he's on our side."

The group exchanged glances, unsure what to make of the white-haired stranger. Bulma, standing at the forefront, scrutinized Bell with a mixture of skepticism and intrigue. "So, you're the guy who took down Vegeta, huh?" she asked, crossing her arms.

Bell chuckled, giving a casual shrug. "Took down is a strong way to put it. Let's just say I reminded him of his limitations."

Krillin leaned closer to Goku, whispering, "Are we sure about this guy? He seems... a little too confident."

Goku grinned. "Trust me, Krillin. Bell's the real deal. You saw how he handled Vegeta. Besides, he's been helping me train, and I've already learned a ton."

Bulma sighed, shaking her head. "Well, if Goku trusts you, I guess that's good enough for me. But just so you know, I've got my eye on you, mister."

Bell smirked. "Noted. I'll try not to disappoint."

As preparations for the journey to Namek began, Bulma got to work modifying the Namekian spaceship. She studied its systems with intense focus, occasionally muttering to herself or calling for tools. Bell watched her work from a nearby chair, impressed by her ingenuity.

"What are you building, anyway?" Bell asked, leaning back lazily.

Bulma didn't look up from her work. "A gravity room," she replied. "If we're going to Namek, we'll need to train on the way there. This ship has some tech I can use to modify the environment. I'm setting it up so you can adjust the gravity to increase the intensity of your training."

Bell raised an eyebrow. "That's... actually really clever. You're smarter than you look."

Bulma shot him a glare. "Watch it, buddy. I'm the reason this plan is even possible."

"Fair enough," Bell said with a laugh, raising his hands in surrender.

With the gravity room complete and the ship ready, the group gathered to embark on their journey. Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha opted to stay behind to protect Earth in case of any unforeseen threats.

Goku, Krillin, Gohan, and Bell stood before the ship as Bulma gave them a final once-over. "Alright, the gravity room's ready to go," she said, wiping her hands. "Don't overdo it, though. I don't want you guys wrecking my hard work."

"Thanks, Bulma," Goku said with a grin.

As the group boarded the ship, Bell glanced back at the Earth, his expression unreadable. He wasn't sure what awaited them on Namek, but he had a feeling it was going to be unlike anything he'd faced before.

Once in space, Goku wasted no time activating the gravity room, setting it to ten times Earth's gravity. The group immediately felt the increased pressure, but Goku and Bell adjusted quickly. Krillin and Gohan, however, struggled to move.

"You guys okay?" Bell asked, watching as Krillin and Gohan struggled to stand.

"This is... insane," Krillin panted, his legs trembling.

Gohan gritted his teeth. "I'll get used to it... I have to."

Bell nodded approvingly. "Good attitude, kid. Take it slow, though. No point in getting injured."

As Krillin and Gohan worked on adapting, Bell and Goku began sparring. Goku was eager to test himself against Bell's seemingly limitless power, but Bell held back, matching Goku's level to keep the fight balanced.

During their training, Bell noticed something intriguing about Goku's movements. His body seemed to react instinctively in moments of high pressure, almost as if bypassing his conscious thought.

"Interesting," Bell muttered, dodging a punch with minimal effort.

"What is?" Goku asked, his voice strained as he launched another attack.

"Your body," Bell replied. "You're starting to move without thinking. It's rough, but the foundation's there."

Goku blinked, confused. "Move without thinking? What do you mean?"

Bell grinned. "Let me show you."

Bell spent the next several hours demonstrating the concept of instinctive movement, helping Goku refine the natural tendency he'd developed. While Bell himself didn't fully understand the technique's potential, he recognized its power and saw Goku's aptitude for it.

"This isn't something you can master overnight," Bell said as they paused for a break. "But you're making good progress. Keep at it, and it might just save your life one day."

Goku nodded, a determined glint in his eye. "Thanks, Bell. I'll keep working on it."

As the days passed, the group continued their training, growing stronger with each session. Bell found himself enjoying the camaraderie of the Z-Fighters, their determination and resilience reminding him of his own journey.

Though he had started as an outsider, Bell began to feel a sense of belonging among the group. For the first time in a long while, he felt like he was part of something bigger than himself.
