Yumiko woke up the next morning feeling tired
After changing her clothes lazily she went out to her usual restaurant, ordering mochi and green tea
Her discussion with the Hokage yesterday didn't leave her mind; it was weird that he agreed to let her go this easily without even trying to convince her to do the blood test; something was definitely wrong.
Nevertheless, Yumiko's knowledge of the ninja world proved to be weak, it wasn't her fault though, there were many things different from the show
Like the cruelty of this world, it was beyond what the anime showed.
Anyway, after finishing her breakfast she paid the bill before heading to a weaponry shop
She only knew one shop since she didn't bother searching.
Entering the store she was greeted by a woman "Why hello again young lady!" she greeted her cheerfully
"I see you've become a chunin, as expected from the hidden prodigy of Konoha!" she praised Yumiko loudly
The said girl's eyebrow rose in question as she thought
'Am I this popular? That's kinda cool'
Clearing her throat, Yumiko answered politely, "Thanks a lot, ma'am... I was wondering if I could place a special order... you see my Gunbai was broken recently and if you can fix it then here it is" She took out a scroll from her ninja pouch before putting it on the counter, unsealing her broken tool
"if not then I'll have to buy a brand-new one, which would be unfortunate since it was with me since I became a ninja..." she said with a soft tone, almost sad.
Frankly, Yumiko could care less about the Gunbai, as long as she doesn't waste money of course. After all must save money since she won't take any missions.
The woman ahead of Yumiko checked the Gunbai for a few moments before answering
"I must admit, you have a very special choice of weapon girl, so it would be quite troublesome to order a new one with a high-quality wood like this, I know some people who would be able to fix it in a very short time but I can't guarantee the price of this wood since it is quite expensive"
Yumiko looked at the woman with surprise
'it was Genma who gave me the Gunbai after I showed my interest in learning it... to think he would buy an expensive one... sigh I should probably ask him how he got it and then I'll see what to do'
"No need, I'll see what to do after discussing the matter with my sensei, thank you anyway"
Yumiko took the Gunbai sealing it again in the scroll
The woman ahead of Yumiko watched silently before shrugging
"Do you want anything else?"
Yumiko shook her head "No. Thanks for your help"
The woman nodded before returning to her newspapers
Yumiko got out of the shop. Pondering on her next move
'What should I do now? Oh, the library! How could I forget about it she grinned
'My time has finally come! Now I will start with learning how to make paper tags'
Instead of flickering, Yumiko took her time walking in the street of Konoha happily
After reaching the library, she immediately created three shadow clones
Each one of them went to a part of the library, though they all had one goal; searching for fuinjutsu scrolls
After finding all the books on fuinjutsu, they started reading from the easiest one
Yumiko and her clones stayed at the library, learning theories and many other things about fuinjutsu
Hours passed by and when Yumiko's eyes started hurting from reading, she decided to stop.
She felt exhausted because she wasn't just reading but also memorizing
Of course, she didn't memorize all the books she read, only important symbols and information
Her clones did that too
'I should probably go home, I spent many hours here, and my ass is aching so much'
Yumiko got up from her seat before looking at her clones, she nodded at them dismissing them
All three of them puffed away
Not a second after Yumiko suddenly got a severe headache that made her hold her head in pain
Grunting she thought confused
'what the fuck? Why does it hurt so much? Does the shadow clone jutsu possibly have a side-effect?'
Yumiko tried to arrange her thoughts and after a few minutes of standing without moving, only focusing on her headache, it finally went off
She sighed in relief
'it was shallow of me to think this jutsu could be used without any effects, though I have all the memories from my clones' Yumiko smirked in victory
"enough for today" she mumbled before getting the scrolls and books to their places then leaving the library
This time, instead of walking she started jumping from one roof to another, aiming to go to a training ground
She decided to train her body for the rest of the day and then go to a restaurant to eat since she wasn't a good cook.
Yumiko started with light exercises like push-ups and squats then went to the hard ones
Unfortunately, she wasn't wearing any weight since it affected her body growth
But that won't be the case as she decided to wear them again.
After training for two hours, Yumiko suddenly felt a wave of chakra coming towards her; their peace was so slow as if trying not to alarm her.
The person wasn't even trying to hide their presence!
Yumiko frowned deeply while thinking in agitation 'This isn't the same chakra I felt while training for the chunin exams
Their chakra is little to none...
I am confused! I can't tell if they are doing this purposefully or not!
Okay, what's wrong with people stalking me? I swear it's becoming creepy'
Yumiko created a shadow clone to train in her place while she went to hide in a nearby tree, waiting patiently for the person to come.
However, her eyes widened completely after seeing the person; she almost laughed out loud but, luckily, maintained her composure.
The famous Rock Lee was hiding in a nearby bush, observing her clone with focus.
From the looks of it, he hasn't graduated yet, as he was wearing a simple white kimono while his long braided hair behind his head
Yumiko pounded
'Should I feel flattered? Though that's kinda weird
I didn't know Lee as the stalker type, or maybe he just wanted some inspiration...
Well that's cute nonetheless'
Yumiko observed him for several minutes, soon his focus turned into awe and determination, though he didn't budge from his place
Yumiko finally decided to confront him
She thought of putting a kunai on his throat to scare him but decided against it since it was too risky.
Flickering behind him she said blankly
"spying on others is rude"
Lee was taken back by the voice behind him, he quickly turned around to come face to face with Yumiko
She was so close to his face that it made him blush
But he quickly realized 'How did she come so quickly?' he glanced back to where the clone was to find nothing
Confusion replaced his embarrassment for a moment
But that didn't last as Yumiko snapped him from his thoughts by clearing her throat loudly
Lee took steps back hurriedly; his cheeks were bright red from being caught right-handed.
Yumiko wasn't annoyed at all, she was enjoying every moment of it
Because how much possibility is there to find a cannon character from the show stalking her? None!
So she took the opportunity with open arms.
Lee quickly bowed ninety degrees while yelling "Am so sorry Yumiko-san! I assure you I hold no ill intentions towards you! I just wanted to see how you train so I can train harder!" he said all that in one breath that it made Yumiko awed
Chuckling, she replied, "No need to apologize; tell me, what's your name?"
Getting up from his bowing position, he answered, "My name is Rock Lee, it's nice to meet you, Yumiko-san! I've heard a lot about you, the hidden lotus, and how much of a prodigy you are!" he said enthusiastically.
And for some reason his blush didn't despair, in fact, it increased to a great extant
Yumiko scratched her neck in embarrassment before clearing her throat again "Oh well I appreciate your compliments...
Anyway, you said you wanted to see me training, if you want I can create a training plan for you?" she said unsure.
Lee looked at her stunned. At first, he thought she would be annoyed at him for stalking her and even send him away injured,
but instead, she forgave him and also offered her help to him!
He was too astonished to answer, he just kept looking at her like some kind of goddess
Yumiko furrowed her eyebrows in confusion while she thought
'what's with that look on his face?
Thinking about it, I can't train him as he should train alone so might guy could see his hard work and potential and then decide to teach him the inner gates... so giving him a training plan won't change much hopefully...well at least I'll see the impact of my existence here'
Smiling at him she said without waiting his answer "well, lee-san how about we start?"
He nodded at her still absent-minded
