Chapter 21 - CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: THE GREAT POWER THAT COMES AFTER BEING AMPLIFIED.

 AGATHA'S POV.

I felt powerful, so powerful that with a raise of a finger, all Drystan men fell to the ground burnt.

Drystan moved back in horror, shocked about everything that happened or how it happened.

"You can't be alive," he declared, ogling at Kethan in confusion.

"Yes, he can't be. I remembered your mother helped poison him… and you contributed to the latching of his cute throat," I retorted.

"No, he can't be alive, I saw his head roll off," Drystan concluded.

"Same way yours will be rolling off soon. And trust me, yah not coming back to live," I responded.

Kethan stood up from the ground, he already healed from the arrow attacks, and he looked brand new.

"Yo…you healed- you healed yourself?" I asked promptly, confused.

Ignoring me, Kethan walked coldly towards one of the horses and rode away.

"Where are you going?" Lunaria yelled but it all proved futile, he left regardless.

"I may not have the powers now, Agatha, but I will be back. I'll find a way; I always find a way. And when I do… I won't spare anyone. Not even you," Drystan blurted out, positively.

"Don't be so sure," I retorted, walking towards the horses, I helped Lunaria up and we trailed after Kethan.

"Why did you take the life of the amplifier Agatha?" Tempestina asked out of nowhere.

"I had no other choice," I replied.

"The amplifiers were meant for the chosen one. For Kethan," Tempestina scolded.

"So what? He was shot, he couldn't move and Drystan was launching at the white deer. You yelled out telling me to do something so Drystan would not be amplified and I did," I blurted out.

"You could have summoned the deer right in front of Kethan…and not yourself," Tempestina barked.

"That's true… but you know I cannot control my powers yet," I argued, confidently.

"If you couldn't control the powers you had, how would you control it now that you are amplified?" Tempestina scolded.

"I'll learn," I replied calmly.

"Start by finding Kethan; we lost track of him," Tempestina stated.

"He's right where we first met him," I replied, assured.

"Did you connect with him?" Tempestina asked.

"I just know," I retorted.

"The amplifier… it's increasing your abilities," Tempestina replied.

 DRYSTAN'S POV

The thought of Kethan being alive struck me hard.

"NO! This isn't happening…it can't be happening," I screamed in anger.

"Get me that priest," I commanded in fury.

"Yes, your grace," a royal guard replied, stepping out promptly to get the priest.

"How's Kethan alive?" I yelled at the priest.

"Kethan is dead. That person you saw, is the chosen Dragon summoner," he coldly stated.

"Why didn't I get the warning that he was alive," I asked in fury.

"Because you didn't ask your grace," The priest answered.

"Did you get the first amplifier?" He asked.

"No, Agatha was amplified instead, she burnt all my men alive," I retorted.

"That's bad," the priest responded.

"Why is it bad?" I asked in terror.

"If Agatha was amplified, then you no longer have one person to worry about…I promise you that Agatha is even more powerful than you or anyone can ever imagine… even without the amplifiers. But she doesn't know how powerful she is yet. Once she discovers this… you are all cooked," the priest blurted out and scoffed.

"SHUT UP!!!"

 AGATHA'S POV

After hours of riding, we finally got to where Kethan was.

Getting down from the horse, I rushed towards him.

"Do you still feel hurt?" I blurted out but got no reply.

"I understand that my husband is dead, but can you at least try and be nice…just a little bit," I pleaded.

"I don't have time to waste on such nonsense," he coldly replied.

"Nonsense? It's nonsense for you to reply to questions? We all are worried about you, your mother, and myself," I retorted.

"No, it's nonsense that you are wasting your time, striving very hard to make me remember. You don't exist in my world woman; I don't want you to," Kethan declared, walking away.

I shut my eyes in a mixture of heartbreak, sadness, and disappointment.

"What's the point of trying when he doesn't even want to remember? He could as well die for all I care," I thought to myself.

"Where do we sleep tonight?" Caspain asked, walking closer.

"My lady, are you alright?" He added, ogling at me.

"We are no longer at the palace Caspian, you are no longer responsible for me," I retorted.

"But I am…or, I want to be," Caspain replied.

Smiling, I turned towards Caspian and nodded.

"Thank you, but I'm fine. We can rest anywhere tonight," I responded with a smile.

"Alright. Remember I'm always here. Plus, isn't your father's kingdom close by? We could crash there till we figure everything out," Caspian proposed.

"I don't know if it's alright, but I'm desperate to see my twin sister so yes," I cheered.

"You have a twin sister?" Caspian asked in shock.

"Yes, she looks exactly like me but we are different in character," I blurted out, grinning.

Ignoring Kethan, we climbed the horse and proceeded to leave for my father's kingdom.

We got there late at night but I knew something was off.

"Something is not right," I whispered.

"What is it?" Tempestina asked.

"I feel…darkness," I blurted out, causing them to come to a halt.

"It's the plague," Kethan coldly stated.

"The plague?" Tespestina asked to be certain.

"If it spreads, the people of this kingdom will die," Kethan declared.

"Why this kingdom?" I asked, trembling in horror.

"Because you belong here… your father, your sister, and everyone you love is here. He's trying to pay you back. He's trying to hurt you," Tempestina answered.

I jumped down from the horse and rushed towards the kingdom gate.

Getting into the Kingdom, Ariel, my step-sister rushed towards me with a hug.

I hugged her back hurriedly, grabbing her chin in my arms.

"Where's father?" I asked promptly.

"He's sick. People in this kingdom are dying of a strange illness, and the king is also a victim."
