"What the fuck?" Was all I could say. Because truly, what the fuck? One second I'm flying over my boss's desk ready to send that asshole to the hospital and the next everything is gone and I'm in a cage in the middle of a field, the pungent smell of earth hitting my nose. "Ah the summoning worked then!" Said a man hidden out of view behind me. I almost jumped out of my fucking skin from the surprise. Turning around I saw a man who looked in his mid 50s but shit he was built like a brick wall, he had a happy carefree kinda smile on his face, one that put me at ease. "Who are you? And where the fuck am I, why am I in a cage?" I hit the man with a barrage of questions. "One question at a time please." The man said with a laugh, "I'm Micha the town lumberjack and builder, I'm also the highest rank human you'll find in a 15 mile radius! But that won't mean much to someone like you I guess." Someone like me? "The fuck you mean someone like me? And what do you mean 'highest rank'?"
"I mean someone from a godless world, you and your kind don't have ranks you're all just, normal." Micha said. Have I gone crazy? None of this shit makes any fucking sense. "And the reason you're here is simple. You're here as a sacrifice, to die for me and my village. me and my people had to spend a lot of coin for the gods to pull something like this so be happy! You're the first sacrifice pulled from your world, it's a big honor kid."
A fucking sacrifice really? This has to be a fucking joke. "A sacrifice?" Without me realizing my hands had started shaking, but not out of fear. No I wasn't scared, I was fucking angry. I don't think I'd ever been so angry in my fucking life. "a fucking sacrifice? An honor? Get fucked, why should I die for an asshole like you? If you think I'll just lay down and die, you're wrong." The man was clearly taken aback at my sudden outrage."Well all sacrifices are given a weapon and a chance to live. You just have to kill the giant snake and survive, of course no one's ever managed it tho." A short sword was in the cage the whole time, I hadn't even realized. I picked it up, it felt too light in my hands like it was made of paper. I've always been a strong guy but strong enough to lift a sword like it wasn't even real? Nah. How the fuck do I get out of this? No matter how much I schemed I just couldn't see a way out of the cage and this ridiculous situation. So, I just stopped thinking so much. I never liked thinking about decisions much anyway, I lunged at the door with my sword pointed at the lock, surprisingly the lock got decimated by my strike. And just like that I was face to face with my captor.
