Evelyn looked at Gracia's face, her heart clenching at the sight of tears. She stood straight, taking her hand away from Gracia. Was she hurting her more? Turning to the doctor and his stuff, she murmured, "She she is crying…"
"It's a good sign. Don't worry." Wismay replied with a small smile. He then turned to his staff who got to their job, checking Gracia's vitals and examining her properly.
Evelyn reluctantly took a step back, letting the doctors do their job. Rita walked over and supported her shoulders. Evelyn gratefully held onto her free hand, calming herself down. Her mom was doing fine! And that's all that mattered to her.
"Please visit her every day." Wismay talked to Evelyn, guiding the ladies out. "Staying here all the time would be a bad idea but you can do two rounds every day."
"Is she really okay?" Evelyn asked as they walked out of the room.
Wismay smiled in response and nodded. "Trust me, she will do even better with you here."
