The next day, Kiana woke up earlier than usual. The sun barely peeked over the horizon, and yet, her eyes fluttered open, gleaming with excitement. It was her very first camping trip with her parents!
A small giggle escaped her mouth as she looked at her parents on either side, they were still asleep unlike her. She sat up on her knees and jumped on her Daddy first.
"Wake up, wake up! It's camping day!" she squealed, tugging at the blankets that barely covered Zevian.
Zevian let out a groan, slowly sitting up and rubbing his eyes. Evelyn, already halfway awake at the noise, smiled at their daughter's enthusiasm.
"Good morning, sweetie," Evelyn murmured, sitting up. She opened her arms and Kiana hugged her immediately, bringing a warm smile at her face.
