Evelyn woke with a throbbing headache, groaning as she sat up in bed. The sharp sun rays filtered through the window, intensifying her discomfort. Rubbing her eyes, she scanned the room, and a frown crept across her lips as she realized she was in Zevian's house.
What happened last night? The only thing she remembered was going to Bobby's bar with Zevian and sharing how they fell in love with the twins.
"Ahhh!" she grumbled as her head pounded, her hands quickly reaching to massage her temples.
"Good morning, Ma'am," Agatha said, smiling as she entered the room to check on her. Placing a coffee tray down on the nightstand, she handed over the hangover tonic Zevian had given her.
"Thank you, Agatha," Evelyn mumbled, drinking the tonic in a few gulps. Her alcohol tolerance was very low, and it seemed like she had drunk quite a lot last night.
"Would you like to have breakfast here, Ma'am?" Agatha asked.
