Evelyn felt a chill run down her spine at that thought, her heart stopping for a second before it raced like a wild untamed horse. No… He would be safe here. No one would be able to pass through this floor. She thought, wondering where the heck Damien was who should have been accompanying his friend.
"Doc… Doctor!" Evelyn murmured, turning around and rushing outside the room. And as much as she loved that the floor was empty a few minutes earlier, she hated it, not finding even a single staff who should have been there! She looked around, left and right and her eyes caught the front desk at the end.
But before Evelyn ran toward it to call for help, a voice greeted her from behind.
