I, in my dragon form, slowly pushed Shea off my body.

I began thinking about things after that.

Through Elise's perspective, I finally saw Charles City.

Compared to Menzoberranzan, Charles City is not only much larger in size, but more importantly, it is far more prosperous.

Just look at the heavy crossbows on the city wall and the powerful drow warriors patrolling constantly.

There are even more powerful magic crystal cannons.

As far as Elise is concerned, I have been honest up to this point when she finds out about her.

No matter what she did to those drow elves, at least I obtained what I needed.

Through Elise's perspective, I had an epiphany about the alluring nature of the dark elves, especially their high priestess, Nadia. Elves, and all their myriad subraces, seemed to embody beauty reincarnate. Whether it was Elise, Nadia, Maya, or any of the drow women prowling the shadows of the Underdark, they all radiated a captivating grace, each easily ranking a 70 out of 100, if not higher. This ethereal allure was a trait shared by nearly all female elves, amplifying my desire to claim them, to make them mine.

And just now, through Elise's perspective, I discovered that the beautiful dark elf high priest Nadia didn't seem so simple.

I clearly felt through Elise's perspective that she experienced strong heart palpitations when she first entered Charles City.

Elise seemed to be targeted by some creature.

A peculiar female drow made her entrance into the city of Menzoberranzan, her presence drawing attention as she walked with the quiet confidence of someone who knew exactly where she was going. Despite her diminutive height of just four feet, her voluptuous form commanded a surprising allure. Long, flowing dark hair cascaded down her back, framing a face marked by piercing blue eyes that gleamed with mischief and intelligence. Her hourglass figure, with its curvaceous proportions, seemed to defy the expectations of her small stature, turning heads as she moved through the shadows of the Underdark.

Her every step was sure, with the grace of someone well accustomed to navigating the dangers of her world, yet there was a certain softness to her, a mysterious quality that intrigued those who caught a glimpse of her. Despite her petite size, she held an undeniable air of power, as if her presence alone could bend the very darkness of the Underdark to her will.

She held a lollipop in her hand and kept eating it.

From time to time, she looked at the surrounding scene.

She was none other than Brigitte, who had come to Menzoberranzan to inquire about news.

Just now, she passed through the Death Canyon without any risk but did not find the death knight.

The black mist was so weird that she couldn't detect it in detail.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, she first came to Menzoberranzan.

"The city is indeed damaged a lot; these are just built!"

"The surrounding drow seem to be in a bad mood!"

"There does seem to be an abnormal aura!"

Looking around, she saw a female drow with an alluring figure and face dressed in fancy clothes. This girl was dressed a bit like a drow noblewoman, so she should know a lot!

Brigitte slowly approached the other party and suddenly reached out and touched the female drow's arm when the other party didn't realize it.

A strange light flashed in the eyes of the female drow, and then she followed behind Brigitte and left...

In a dwelling in the city, Brigitte closed her eyes and put her hands on top of the female drow's head, starting to use her skills to detect the other's thoughts.

Dominating creatures lower than her and detecting thoughts were her innate abilities. Similar to spell-like abilities, but they didn't come from her blood.

Soon, Brigitte saw the image of the black dragon attacking the city in the other party's mind.

There was also the black dragon building his own palace and flying toward Death Canyon one day.

After a long time, Brigitte opened her eyes.

It seems that what the drow mistress of this city said should be true.

Let's verify more.

She stretched out a finger and silently pierced the temple of the female drow on the ground.

White brains flowed out of the hole.

The female drow was killed by Brigitte in her sleep.

Brigitte put her wet fingers in her mouth and sucked a few times.

"Tasty!"

Then a stream of poison sprayed from her mouth, and the body and clothing of the female drow slowly melted, leaving behind only a puddle.

"So, what Elise said is true!"

Nadia in the temple looked excitedly at Brigitte in front of her.

"It must be true! I have detected five drow elves in Menzoberranzan City. They are all different professions, and the information in their minds is the same!" Brigitte looked at Nadia in boredom.

"Very good!"

"Then what about the state of the black dragon?" Nadia asked.

"I just approached the black dragon's palace, but I felt a sense of danger. I left because I was afraid of being exposed!" Brigitte replied, still feeling strange.

She had never seen giant dragons before, so she didn't have an accurate understanding of the strength of these true dragons.

But her intuition told her that the other party was dangerous!

"Brigitte, I need you this time!" Nadia exhaled.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, even for extremely long-living drow, and she didn't want to miss it.

"Nadia, I can help you, but you must meet some of my little requests!" Brigitte approached Nadia and stretched her hand into Nadia's clothes.

Nadia's face flushed slightly, but she didn't resist.

She thought it was like a bath!

---

"Elise, you should know how difficult an adult black dragon is, and I don't want to be an enemy!" Nadia looked at Elise, the mistress of the drow.

"High Priest Nadia, you must help us!" Elise said with a pale face.

Nadia looked at the other party's performance and shook her head secretly. After all, she was still too young!

It was a big taboo to have no bottom line when negotiating!

"But why should I help you?"

Hearing this sentence, Elise sneered in her heart. The fish was hooked.

This High Priest was a little too stupid, but it didn't matter.

This was exactly what she wanted!

"I can make a contract with you. As long as you take back Menzoberranzan City from that black dragon, Menzoberranzan City will give you 40% of the future profits unconditionally!" Elise gritted her teeth.

"I want 70%, and your Dark Demon clan must become my vassal clan!" Nadia said lightly.

"This..." Elise looked conflicted.

"You have to know that the price we will pay is going to be very high, so let's just forget it!" Nadia felt that she had already handled the other party.

"Fine, I agree! But all of this is based on your taking back the city of Menzoberranzan!" Elise seemed to have lost all her strength.

"No problem. The strength of our Charles City is beyond what you can imagine!" Nadia said straightforwardly, having achieved her goal.

Elise despised the other party slightly. It was impossible to get back a single copper coin from that perverted dragon, let alone a city.

It didn't matter whether the contract was there or not. In other words, even if the other party had the strength, he would not allow it.

In Menzoberranzan City, I quietly looked at the drow below.

"Master Saron, our mistress will lead the opponent's main force into Death Valley, and then Lord can try to occupy the empty Charles City..."

The sweaty drow didn't dare to look up at the black dragon above.

This momentum was too powerful!

"Go back and tell Elise that I will let Arthas cooperate with her. But go back and tell Elise to make her recognize her position!" I raised my eyelids and said.

"Understood!" the drow said tremblingly.

She couldn't help but fear that the black dragon circling above would take offense and devour her. From the tales she had recently read in books, she knew well the brutal nature of Chromatic Dragons, particularly their penchant for hunting and feasting on elves—especially the females, who were considered a rare and tempting delicacy to their predatory senses.

---

"The death knight should have fallen into a dormant period. It seems that he was seriously injured. I think we can ignore that guy for the time being."

"But the current situation is that if you go through Death Canyon to deal with the black dragon, there will be many changes. The death knight is one aspect, and going directly will definitely arouse the vigilance of the black dragon."

"And our Charles City's defense is very strong, and many methods must be used in the city to be most effective."

Elise in Charles City was a little disdainful when she saw Nadia discussing with other drow noble ladies of different houses in the city.

In her opinion, this kind of matter should be directly decided by herself, and there was no need to discuss it with these girls.

Only those who were obedient were the drow nobles, and if they were not obedient, then some other obedient drows would rise.

As most drow females were very eager to become nobles!

"Elise, you are the mistress of Menzoberranzan. Please give me some advice!" Nadia looked at Elise at the side and said suddenly.

Immediately, all eyes were on Elise.

Elise didn't expect that the other party would actually ask her opinion.

"Everyone here is the most powerful elite of each family. You can definitely come up with a better plan than me, so I won't participate!" Elise smiled slightly.

"You're welcome, Elise. Tell me what you think!" Nadia waved her hand indifferently.

"Then I'll tell you what I think!

"First of all, that black dragon is very powerful, but it must be uncomfortable for him to collide with an equally powerful death knight!

"And if we want to deal with him, we must choose a battlefield.

"Either we find a way to lure him to Charles City, use the powerful defense here to kill him, or send elites to slay the dragon!"

The drow ladies in the hall nodded one after another.

"I think it's better to destroy that black dragon in Charles City. We have constructs here, as well as magic crystal cannons and dragon-slaying crossbows…"

---

As I watched their audacious plans to slay a dragon, a surge of energy coursed through me.

How dare they call it the Dragon Slayer Crossbow?

Such a name was far too grand, far too powerful. Just the mere mention of it stirred emotions deep within me. A name like that, laden with pride and arrogance, could ignite the flames of battle in anyone foolish enough to wield it.

How dare they call it the Dragon Slayer Crossbow?

The name alone was laughable. It carried a weight far too grand for something as simple as a crossbow. Dragon Slayer Crossbow—the very title was enough to stir up emotions, but it was so utterly absurd that it bordered on mockery.

Were they truly not afraid of their own doom?

In the above world, if word of this ridiculous weapon ever spread, I could already hear the nobles' laughter. They would scoff at the absurdity of it all.

In the grand scheme of things, only a handful of people had ever truly encountered the horrors of dragons, and of those, fewer still had lived to tell the tale. Dragon Slayer was a title that demanded more than a simple weapon; it was a badge earned in blood, not bestowed upon any crossbow for a fancy name.

Yet, only a handful—less than two percent—had ever come face-to-face with the true terror of a dragon. The mere thought of slaying one, let alone claiming such a title, was absurd.

A Dragon Slayer wasn't a title to be thrown around lightly.

"Master, what's wrong?"

Shea, who had been diligently cleaning my scales, looked up in confusion as I abruptly sat up.

"It's nothing," I said with a small chuckle. "I just heard a rather amusing joke."

I waved it off and reclined once more. After all, I had the right to indulge in a little entertainment.

"Then it's decided. Send elite fighters across Death Canyon to deal with the black dragon. At the same time, the city is also ready. If the large army fails to destroy the black dragon, then Charles City must be prepared!" Nadia said as they made a plan.

"As ordered!"

The other noble drow ladies present also retreated slowly and began to prepare. After all, it was the first time to slay a dragon.

"Elise, get ready to go together!" Nadia said, looking at Elise next to her.

"No problem, High Priest. I will be ready!" Elise bowed.

Nadia nodded.

She also had to prepare. After all, the matter was of great importance.

A group of elite drows of all kinds of professionals set out.

At the forefront was Nadia, the High Priest of Charles City. She was covered in a thick black magic robe.

Riding on a rune chariot pulled by two giant lizards.

"Nadia, I don't understand. You don't need to come out!" Brigitte's voice came from the darkness beside her.

She didn't understand why Nadia had to venture out here herself.

Just let her subordinates do it!

"Brigitte, you don't understand!" Nadia shook her head.

"Forget it. If you don't understand, then don't understand!"

Brigitte didn't want to waste her head thinking about that.

She wasn't a real drow, and it was normal not to understand something.

Just keep Nadia safe!

Elise was riding on the back of a giant lizard and looked at Nadia's convoy with smiles in her eyes.

This time the mission went too well!

She didn't expect no drow in Charles City to see through her.

Those drow noble ladies acted as if they were stupid, unconditionally supporting Nadia to deal with the black dragon.

The whole city was unswervingly supporting Nadia. Whoever did not support Nadia was like a spy.

This made Elise a little confused. She was not so relaxed when she was managing Menzoberranzan.

Those families all had their own ideas, and there were more open and secret conflicts in various interest disputes.

And Charles City was united from top to bottom.

One must know that it was a black dragon, and there would be great danger if you were not careful.

These guys seemed to want Nadia to leave to slay the dragon...

Suddenly, a light flashed in Elise's eyes.

It seemed that Charles City was not as simple as it appeared on the surface!

For the first time, Elise felt that something seemed to exceed her expectations.

At this time, several figures in black robes in Charles City stood quietly on the city wall and watched Nadia's team leave slowly.

Their black robes had weird white eyeballs embroidered on them.

"Master Orel, High Priest Nadia and the others have finally left!" said a man in black.

"Nadia has left, and the one in the temple has never left her, so she must have left too!" The eyes of the men in black robes were shining brightly.

"But that Elise seems to have impure motives!"

"Our purpose is to let Nadia leave Charles City normally and not make her suspicious!"

"No matter what Elise's plans are, she just helped us unintentionally. As long as the goal is achieved, we don't need to think about it," a hoarse voice came from the black robe.

"My lord, why don't we just get rid of Nadia? Then the whole city will become ours without hindrance, and we also gave her a precious scroll!"

"No, Nadia is the High Priest who has received the response from the goddess Lolth. She is not an ordinary mistress of the drow. If you attack her rashly, it is very likely that something unexpected will happen. It is good to keep it like this for now. And Charles City has always been ours, including other cities..."

Orel's voice was full of weirdness, and they had always made Nadia think that she was firmly in control of the city.

"How is the Lord?" Orel then asked.

"The Lord should wake up soon, but this time it seems a bit strange. The time before the Lord's sleep was not as long as this time, and the place where the Lord slept had a very strange smell..."

"My Lord should be experimenting with other powers, so don't make rash remarks!" Orel said sternly.

"My subordinates dare not!"

"Go do what you have to do. Maybe you will have to deal with Nadia later!"

"As ordered!"
