"I caught her scent earlier," I replied, narrowing my eyes and scanning the area. "She was here not long ago." Despite my words, I couldn't help but feel a growing sense of doubt. Shea surviving out here on her own was already a miracle in itself. She was a bunny girl, not exactly built for the deadly dangers lurking in places like this.
But for all her flaws, Shea had a way of softening even my hardened resolve. There was something about her—a mix of vulnerability and loyalty that was hard to ignore. Wrapped in that alluring form, she had her charms. And then there were the countless times she'd cleaned my scales with such devotion, always eager to serve.
Even if her chances were slim, I couldn't just leave her behind. She was important, if only because of what she had endured to stay by my side.
I still wanted to find her within my ability.
"Shea has her... appeal," I mused quietly. "And I still intend to find her." I clenched my fists. No matter the cost, I would track her down. I owed her that much and wouldn't let her story end in some forgotten corner of this wilderness.
I began to cast the earth-type investigation magic, Earth Sense.
I turned the vibration perception to the limit, trying to find some clues.
After exploring the cave, I finally made some discoveries.
I came to a narrow gap, which also smelled of Shea.
Then one paw scraped open the gravel next to it, revealing a huge hole hidden underneath.
This was the deepest part of the cave.
Looking at the entrance of this cave, I thought deeply.
With my current eyesight, I couldn't see the bottom of this hole. It seemed to lead all the way to the ground. And it was obviously hidden on purpose.
It seems that it has a lot to do with that blue-footed dragon snake, but it's a pity that that guy is dead. Otherwise, we should be able to get some useful clues.
Looking at the entrance of the cave, I spoke to Winnie, who was next to me. "Look at the entrance of this cave and let me know immediately if there is any situation!"
At this time, Winnie kept sniffing the surrounding stones like a kitten.
"Follow, my Lord!" Winnie came back to herself.
I looked at her, then turned and left.
I now had only one subordinate, Winnie, which made me miss my previous life in the Dragon Nest. Well, I could call them here using any door, but I am not sure if someone is watching with some kind of artifact. So, for now, I had to work with what I got.
It seems there is a chance to find dependents.
But also, to take in some new dependents.
I thought of the silly bear outside. It was a little silly, but it was much better than other monsters.
Although an adult Earth Splitter barely registers as a threat to me now, its combat prowess cannot be entirely dismissed. As a high-tier creature, its strength is formidable by most standards—something only the elite could ever hope to match. With raw power that exceeds what 70% of the multiverse's population could ever achieve, it's a force to be reckoned with in its own right. Yet, in the grand scale of my abilities, it's little more than a stepping stone.
I have named him Pear, so it should be no problem for him to work for me for life!
---
At the same time, a big bear that had been tickling under the big tree yawned.
It felt that it should have picked up a poisonous honeycomb yesterday and got stung on the nose.
He shook his head and started to continue rubbing its itches. It was so comfortable!
---
I looked at the panel, and there were still five days left for the feast to cool down.
I came to an open space in a cave.
There were scattered armor, weapons, and such.
There were also skulls of humans and other creatures.
It seemed that the blue-footed dragon snake here was a place for collecting.
Those unlucky human adventurers and the like were probably eaten, leaving only these boring blue-footed dragon snakes as precious collectibles.
I looked at the armor and weapons.
The quality was not bad, but it was only at this level.
It could barely be used as supplementary food, but the staple food had to be that blue-footed dragon snake.
...
Shea felt like she had never been so unlucky.
Originally, she wanted to find Lord and Winnie.
But she didn't expect to enter an unknown Warcraft cave.
Fortunately, the monster seemed to be asleep.
In a panic, she didn't even know where she had gone.
But Shea walked and found herself lost.
As a result, she fell into a huge cave and was almost eaten by a strange lizard.
Fortunately, the woman in the black robe in front of her rescued her.
"Thank you for saving me!" Shea patted her chest with lingering fear and spoke to the figure hiding under the black robe next to her.
"You're welcome. What kind of creature are you? I seem to have never seen you in the Dark Lands!" The woman in black took off the hat on her head and asked suspiciously.
After seeing it clearly, Shea exclaimed, "You are a Dark Elf! A Drow!!!"
This was a female elf with cyan skin.
Pointy ears, white waist-length hair, blue eyes, slender figure.
Coupled with her three-dimensional and exquisite facial features, she looked very beautiful.
"I'm a drow. You can call me Maya!" the drow elf Maya said indifferently.
"My name is Shea. I'm from Dragon C... Oh no, I should be from the Evil Tooth Tribe! I'm from the Demi-Human Empire!" Shea shook her two rabbit ears.
"Where do you come from?"
Maya stretched out her hand and squeezed Shea's rabbit ears curiously.
Then she touched her pointed ears, which seemed very active.
But Shea was a little unfamiliar with her enthusiastic way.
She shrank back and whispered:
"I don't know. I fell here after running!"
"Then you're out of luck!" Maya shook her head.
She felt that the little white rabbit probably wouldn't live past a few days.
"Maya, don't you Drow Elves only live in the Underdark World?" Shea suddenly had a bad premonition.
"This is the Underdark Region, which is the underground world you mentioned!" Maya said as she straightened her crossbow.
"This is the Underdark!!"
Shea was stunned for a moment. Did she come to the underground world?
Didn't they say that the entrance to the underground world is hard to find?
How did she get in here? Can Master and Winnie find her after coming here?
The drow elf, Maya, scrutinized Shea with a calculating gaze, wondering what kind of background this seemingly disheveled half-beast girl hailed from. Despite her current bedraggled appearance, Maya's sharp eyes quickly discerned the telltale signs of a higher status.
The way Shea carried herself, even in her ragged state, spoke of someone accustomed to privilege. The subtle refinement in her posture, the grace in her movements—even her disheveled hair couldn't hide her noble bearing. Then there was the space ring on her finger, an object far too valuable for commoners to possess, hinting at wealth and power. Her tattered clothing, though worn from her journey, was crafted from the finest magical silk, a fabric reserved for the upper echelons of society. And when Maya tapped into her innate sense of biology, she could feel the latent magic radiating from Shea's very being—her biological order was high, ninth order, far beyond what most of the common folk could ever hope to achieve.
Maya's mind whirled with possibilities. Though Shea might appear vulnerable and out of place, her origins were anything but ordinary. Perhaps, Maya thought, there was profit to be made from someone of such obvious standing, hidden beneath the guise of hardship.
---
Four days later, I looked at the body of the blue-footed dragon snake in front of me.
This guy's body is really too big and filled to the brim with energy.
"The feast begins!"
Sure enough, the blue-footed dragon snake in front of me was the one with the most scent, and the scent of weapons and armor was very limited.
It shows that its quality is not high.
I was not discouraged that I did not pick up the leak.
I began to devour the huge body of the blue-footed dragon snake.
I ate very cleanly.
From meat to bones and scales, there was not a single bit of waste.
Those armor, long swords, short swords, staffs, pendants, rings, bows, and crossbows on the ground were all swallowed by me without falling.
A few minutes later, the huge body of the blue-footed dragon snake had disappeared.
If anyone saw this scene, their jaws would drop.
Because I ate 1.5 times my body size and 2 times my weight.
Even the powerful stomach of the giant dragon cannot directly eat so much in a short period of time.
Soon, I fell into a deep sleep.
A feast of makeovers awaited.
---
Two days later.
I woke up from my deep sleep in the cave of the original blue-footed dragon snake.
I stretched my body.
Now my body size is nearly 40 meters, and I'm definitely considered an old dragon just by my body size.
I felt a strange sensation in my mouth.
I opened my mouth and touched my teeth with my paws.
I found that I had an extra row of teeth in my modified mouth this time.
Just behind the original teeth.
Just like sharks.
I smacked my lips. I didn't even know how strong my bite force was now. However, it is very important to have a good mouthful of white teeth as a qualified foodie. Teeth are also a very powerful attack method of mine.
I flapped my wings and looked at the panel.

Lightning Breath?
To say I was shocked would be an understatement. As I began to sense the changes within myself, I realized a new organ was forming—a strange addition to my anatomy, nestled right next to the acid sac. I had noticed its development ever since my last transformation, but I never anticipated it would become a secondary breath organ.
The sensation was peculiar, unlike anything I'd felt before. Yet, there was no sense of alienation or discord within me. The organ, born from the feast, melded seamlessly with my being as if it had always belonged there. Without hesitation, I decided to test this newfound ability.
A sudden surge of energy coursed through me, a feeling both foreign and exhilarating. The next moment, a brilliant, crackling cone of blue lightning erupted from my jaws. It tore through the air, striking the stone wall ahead with devastating force.
Crack!
The stone shattered and crumbled under the onslaught, a massive hole appearing where solid rock once stood. I approached the wall, observing the damage. The stone surface was scorched and fractured, bearing the unmistakable marks of high-temperature burns and searing electricity. I hadn't yet verified its paralyzing effect, but this power alone rivaled the might of my heat ray, perhaps even surpassing it in certain aspects. There was a sharpness to the lightning, a piercing quality that hinted at a deeper potential.
Then, a thought struck me—a revelation that made my heart race. The atomic furnace within me, the source of my heat ray, could channel energy through this new organ as well. My mind spun with the implications. If I could combine the raw power of the heat ray with the lightning breath, the result would be catastrophic—a synergy beyond what any single breath could achieve.
My eyes narrowed as I concentrated, guiding the atomic energy through the new organ. A thrill of anticipation coursed through me as the energy converged, intensifying. Then, with a flash of golden light, I unleashed a torrent of power.
BOOM!
A colossal beam of golden energy, crackling with lightning, surged from my maw. It struck the stone with an impact that was both explosive and molten, obliterating the rock in its path. In a heartbeat, the once-solid stone was reduced to a smoking, melted ruin, a bottomless passage yawning before me.
I stood there, awestruck by my own power. Was this real? Had I truly become this strong?
"What just happened? Did the ground move?" Winnie's startled voice echoed from the entrance of the cave. I turned to see her standing there, wide-eyed and bewildered, having been thrown off balance by the shockwave.
"Winnie, what are you doing here?" I asked, my voice still resonating with the thrill of discovery.
"Master!" she exclaimed, her eyes darting between me and the smoldering tunnel. "What was that?"
"I was testing a new attack method," I replied casually, my mood lifted by the overwhelming power I had just wielded.
"Oh…" Winnie's initial shock was replaced by something else—awe, perhaps, but also something more. Her gaze lingered on me, her eyes widening as she took in my form.
"Is something wrong?" I asked, noting her scrutiny.
Winnie shook her head, though her expression was still dazed. "No, it's just… Master, you've grown even larger! And so quickly! Is this… normal for a dragon?"
She was right. I had felt the growth spurt earlier, but now, even I could sense the difference. My body was expanding at an unprecedented rate, my scales shimmering with newfound strength.
"We'll go down this tunnel later to find Shea," I said, cutting off her train of thought. "But first, we need a guardian for this cave. It's too exposed."
"A guardian?" Winnie echoed, her eyes lighting up at the prospect. "Now?"
"Yes, now," I affirmed. Despite the steep location, it wasn't immune to intrusions. We needed to secure our position before moving forward.
"Who will you call, Master?" Winnie's voice was filled with excitement, her earlier concerns seemingly forgotten.
I considered the options, my mind racing through the creatures I could summon or command. This cave would be the perfect staging ground, and with the right guardian, we could secure it as a base of operations.
"Don't worry, you'll see soon enough." I turned back to the melted tunnel, my heart still pounding with exhilaration. I had a new weapon today, one that would change the course of our battles to come.
