Chapter 123 - CH : 119 Devil Family and Mage + Tank + Warrior + Assassin!

This is not timidity before a fight; it is called planning for a rainy day!

"Yes!"

"Also, be vigilant. I don't want to find out after being beaten to my lair by the enemy like last time!" I warned.

Those humans are not so simple.

No, it shouldn't be human anymore; it's half-human...

Winnie paused when she heard the words and disappeared in place.

I knew that Winnie had run away.

"Master, do you need me to clean the scales on your body?"

As soon as Winnie left, Shea, the bunny girl, came hopping over with all kinds of cleaning supplies on her back.

Her residence is very close to mine.

She saw me as soon as I came out.

But I didn't speak; I looked at Shea.

The white pantyhose covered her slender legs, and the purple-black skirt highlighted her perfect figure!

"Being not!"

After I finished speaking, I walked into the cave again.

I suddenly remembered that I had to study another spell-like ability that I had tried last time—Transfiguration!

Otherwise, the anger would be too great!

And there is one more way.

"What?"

Shea looked at my back suspiciously.

She could feel that I didn't hate her, and she clearly enjoyed washing my body every time before! It's just that she was too busy with matters of the tribes before.

Not wanting to understand the reason, Shea could only go back to her own residence.

She still needs to learn more about treatment methods.

...

A forest troll wearing armor in the jungle ran to Shadar's side, covered in sweat, and said:

"Chief Shatar, those human scouts suddenly disappeared after we killed a few!"

"All gone?" Shatar asked doubtfully.

This time, the enemy sent more than a hundred people; they only killed four, and all the others disappeared.

"What do you think of people?" Shatar threw away the animal meat in his hand and said angrily.

"Chief Shatar, those guys are like bugs; they disappeared without alarming us..."

"Find them for me! Find one and kill one!"

There was a cold killing intent in Shadar's one eye.

...

After countless experiments, I finally managed to forcefully perform the Transfiguration. Slowly, I began gathering the magic within my body, building the spell model that had eluded me so many times. The structure of the polymorph spell wasn't inherently difficult, but there had always been some stubborn nodes that refused to flow smoothly. This time, though, everything clicked into place.

It's a bit like using AI to sculpt a figure, but the transfiguration spell only locks in one form. Moments later, a black light erupted, and standing before me was a towering humanoid figure, 2.7 meters tall.

My new form boasted massive, muscular limbs, broad, rounded shoulders, and a chest that rose like a wall of steel. The sheer muscle mass rippled under my skin, though barely visible through the fine black dragon scales inlaid with golden silk thread that covered me—nearly impossible to spot with the naked eye. Six sharp dragon horns crowned my head like a royal headdress, soaring skyward, and long black hair cascaded down my back, flowing like a dark torrent all the way to my waist.

My scarlet eyes gleamed with an intense, murderous glint that would send chills through anyone who dared meet my gaze. Enormous black dragon wings spread wide from my back, giving the impression of unstoppable power.

This was what I looked like after performing Transfiguration.

I approached a nearby pool and examined my reflection. "This... this is what you'd call a half-dragon or dragon man," I muttered, though not entirely convinced. According to my inherited memories, the traditional half-dragons lacked wings. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't retract mine.

My hands, still dragon-like, were adorned with sharp, obsidian claws. A single glance at my mouth, full of razor-like teeth, would send any opponent into retreat. The sides of my face were armored with black scales, intricately inlaid with golden threads, giving off a sinister, malevolent air. Flecks of black dragon scales peeked out from my arms and legs as well, buried within my flesh like fragments of living armor.

This was the closest I had come to resembling a human since mastering Transfiguration. Yet my body's density—both muscle and bone—far exceeded that of any dragon of my age.

The dragons' inherited transfiguration technique was leagues away from what I had here.

Curiosity piqued, I looked down at my "dragon brother," and let's just say, even after the transformation, he was far from modest. I couldn't help but wonder how Danylan, Shea, Winnie, and the others would react to this monstrous size. It seemed too unexpected, and I don't know if Danylan, Shea, Winnie, and the others…

It wouldn't do to face them like this, naked and towering.

With a thought, black armor materialized over my body, formed from my own scales. I modeled it after the sacred cloth of Pluto from my past life. Now this—this was perfection. I gave myself a proud thumbs-up, admiring the way it covered everything, even down below.

Suddenly, I frowned. The transfiguration had drained more mana than expected. I could maintain this form for only about three hours before it would break. Worse, in this form, it felt like I was bound by invisible chains—my power was limited to a mere 30% of what I could wield in my dragon form. Even my speed, typically much faster in smaller forms, was equally constrained. It left me feeling vulnerable, far from the invincible force I was as a dragon.

The biggest problem? The form wasn't stable. If I got too excited, I'd revert back to my full dragon self instantly. The mere thought of what would happen if I transformed into a 40-meter dragon while having sex with Danylan and the others sent chills down my spine. Imagining a sudden shift to full dragon form in the middle of an intimate moment... the consequences would be terrifying.

The consequences are unimaginable!

Thinking about me returning to dragon form while having sex…

I definitely needed to test the stability of this transformation later.

But for now, the result was acceptable, even if not perfect.

Puff.

I let out a long breath, content with my progress. Nothing beats being in my true dragon form. Not only is it infinitely more comfortable, but it also gives me an overwhelming sense of security.

Honestly, I don't know how those Metallic Dragons can stay in their humanoid forms for decades on end. It's an impressive feat, but also a horrifying one to think about. Their control must be beyond anything I've achieved.

As for me, though, it's better to be a dragon. Always.

---

Far from the depths of the black forest, several black figures gathered.

"Have you found any trace of the black dragon?"

"I didn't find it; only some frost trolls gathered here, and they killed a few of us!"

"A bunch of trash!"

The leading man in black said angrily.

He ordered them to find a black dragon.

Not some goddamn forest troll.

"But my lord, we carefully inspected the scene where Lord Turom fought with the black dragon, and found something very important. These frost trolls seem to have fought with the black dragon!"

"Kindness?"

Frost trolls and black dragons?

Are these two related?

"And some of the equipment on those frost trolls belongs to our family," the subordinate added again.

Yuxi thought about it carefully and finally understood.

No wonder Lord Turom said that he was just dealing with a group of frost trolls.

But in the end, it disappeared.

It turns out that the black dragon and the frost trolls are together!

The most important thing is that, as the intelligence officer of the Voltan family, he didn't expect this!

How is this different from a pig?

Yuxi knew that they underestimated the frost trolls and wanted to kill the black dragon before freeing up to deal with these frost trolls.

But with the greediness of the Chromatic dragon, how could he distribute his loot to his subordinates?

Leave that alone.

As an intelligence officer, Yuxi naturally understands the surrounding situation very well.

There is only one tribe of frost trolls around!

Evil Tooth Tribe!

The black dragon's hiding place is most likely in the Evil Tooth Tribe; even if it is not there, it is inseparable from the Evil Tooth Tribe!

"Go back and report to the Patriarch immediately!"

After Yuxi finished speaking, he took the lead and quickly left towards the distance.

The others took a look and followed immediately.

---

The Voltan family.

Victor stared at Yuxi in front of him, and after listening to the report, Victor couldn't calm down for a long time.

Unexpectedly, they had been thinking crookedly all this time.

Also,

Who would have thought that a near-adult black dragon would live in a small tribe of Evil Tooth when they had always thought it must be living in the depths of the dark forest?

But Victor can be sure that this black dragon will not come to the world of the Evil Tooth Tribe for more than three years.

Because three years ago, the intelligence personnel of the Voltan family had already investigated the Evil Tooth Tribe thoroughly after paying some price.

A big black dragon that big would definitely not be able to hide it.

Moreover, it is very difficult to support a dragon, which cannot be hidden.

Not to mention the dragon's greed for treasures and the like.

In other words, the true dragon usually eats a lot.

That's why Victor didn't connect the black dragon with the frost trolls at first; he just thought that the black dragon might just pass by.

"It seems that we have lost the vigilance we should have had when the Voltan family started

to grow!"

Victor's eyes darkened.

When the Voltan family was just beginning to grow, they had to know themselves and the enemy every time before taking the initiative to attack.

But this time, their information about the Dark Forest and the Evil Tooth Tribe was still three years old.

All subsequent inferences were based on this false intelligence.

"Damn it!"

Turom died too unjustly; it was the bad information that killed him.

"Go on!" Victor said calmly.

You Xi breathed a sigh of relief and slowly backed out. He knew that the calmer the Patriarch was, the stronger the anger in his heart would be.

But it seemed that he would not be torn to pieces by the furious Patriarch.

In fact, Victor didn't blame his intelligence personnel.

After all, no one thought that a tribe of frost trolls would need to go to great lengths to reinvestigate.

---

"You must help me kill this dragon!"

"From the feel of its aura, it's not yet an adult. With your strength and the full backing of your Voltan family, a mutant sub-adult black dragon shouldn't pose too much of a challenge, should it?" A massive figure materialized in the shadows, looming over the conversation.

The creature stood a towering six meters tall, its grotesque form covered in jagged black spikes. Four powerful arms jutted from its colossal body, giving it an appearance both alien and terrifying. This was no ordinary being; it was one of the most treacherous demons to crawl from the Abyss—a Glabrat.

"Restrain your form!" Victor frowned in irritation, eyeing the demon with disdain. If anyone else saw this monstrosity, it would create unnecessary complications.

"Heh, mortals... always clinging to their delusions, refusing to face the harshness of reality." The demon's eyes gleamed with a twisted blend of cunning and cruelty. Slowly, its towering, monstrous form shifted. In its place stood a sharply dressed, handsome middle-aged man cloaked in black robes, his hair as dark as the abyss he hailed from.

"If you seek our help, you should already know," the demon, now Keane, smirked, "there's always a price when dealing with demons."

"I know," Victor replied coldly. "But my demand is simple: kill the black dragon. And don't fail."

Keane let out a deep laugh, his sharp, white teeth gleaming as he stepped closer. "Ah, Victor... I admire this side of you. In fact, I've always considered you a brother," he said with feigned warmth, his voice smooth as poison.

Victor didn't respond. He knew better than to engage with a demon's theatrics. Trusting this creature with anything more than the exact terms of their deal would be suicide. Demons thrived on manipulation and deception, and Keane was no exception.

Seeing Victor's silence, Keane merely chuckled and dissolved into a plume of black smoke, vanishing without a trace. Victor watched the smoke dissipate, his brow furrowed with exhaustion. Dealing with such a creature was always draining. Every interaction felt like walking a razor's edge, knowing one misstep would lead to destruction.

This Glabrat wasn't summoned by accident. It had been centuries ago when the Voltan family first learned the dark summoning technique passed down through generations. It was that same pact that had lifted the family from obscurity, binding their fate to the demon's whims.

But this time, Victor's plans had unraveled. Everything he had carefully orchestrated was on the verge of collapse, all because of one rogue black dragon. The frustration clawed at him—and worse still, Turom would never return.

The Voltan family's legacy, its future, now teetered on the edge of oblivion.

...

I, who was studying the Blast Bomb, a fifth-tier spell in the cave, suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Who the hell cursed me? Fuck you too!" After casually cursing back, I continued to study magic.

"The spell model of this fire-type magic, Blast Bomb, is really hard to do! Of course, it's far from the hardest spell I learned, Water Dragon. So I can do this."

Blast Bomb is an advanced version of Fireball.

There is more magic power in my body. Although the fireball spell is powerful, it is elementary magic, after all.

Lethality is limited.

Like the last Digger Worm fireball, it might just tickle him without causing any damage to its carapace.

The Blast Bomb is different; not only is the temperature higher but also the bursting effect is more outstanding. The effect is not comparable to the fireball spell of the third tier.

I want to cultivate both magic and martial arts so that magic can't be left behind. After all, I already knew some basic escaping spells and cultivated them to the return-to-nature level, so they could be instantly cast.

My positioning for myself is Mage + Tank + Warrior + Assassin!

Being a master at both long and short range.

I can fight like a tank and run like a jet!

I don't care about what is too much to chew.

Anyway, I have a limitless amount of time; chewing it slowly won't be a problem for me, and it will rot...

Steps Moving Forward

After penning over 180 to 200 chapters, I find myself at a crossroads in the story, and before I ask for your suggestions, let me provide a bit of context about where things currently stand.

The protagonist, now at level 26, possesses the combat prowess to challenge opponents as high as level 29—just a step below the demigod threshold of 30.5. He rules the Tal Plane, a city situated within one of the endless layers of the Abyss, as well as another plane under his control. Despite his power and influence, he has yet to venture into the greater multiverse as we know it in our books and stories.

The MC is surrounded by thousands of women, but all of them are local to his planes, and only one among them has become pregnant.. At 45 years old.

Additionally, his might has grown to unparalleled levels. He commands an empire of 100 billion dependents and has honed his mastery of void powers to an extraordinary degree. He is capable of reviving void followers, reshaping their bodies, and commanding a thousand legends—some reaching levels between 25 and 28.

Now, here lies my conundrum: after introducing this pregnancy, how should I move the story forward? How do I develop the multiverse while maintaining a balance between the MC's personal growth, his responsibilities as a ruler, and the ever-expanding challenges of the world he's in?

Your insights and suggestions would be invaluable as I navigate this pivotal moment in the narrative.

Maybe I will add some more subplots but let's see how it goes.

Also, the author is not a god. Sometimes he is in a bad state and his brain is muddled. It is normal to write poisonous points. If it is too inappropriate, then revise it. The main thing is to listen to advice.

——

Below are the plot and world options——

1. [Main Material World]: The prosperity and origin of all races, the professional system that has multiplied to the extreme, the oldest world in the star world, the place where the peak powerhouses gather, and the gods walk the earth.

2. [Traditional Western Fantasy World]: It is similar to the Tal material plane where the protagonist is now, but at most the energy level is different.

3. [Special World]: Book friends can leave messages, open options. (Special world view, special cultivation system, such as the sequence world, chasing the source of the sequence, achieving godhood, referring to the mysterious cultivation system, and other special worlds like this such game, anime, movie, comic, tv series worlds)

Finally, there is the plot. Do you have any favorite plot?

Let me give you an example.

1. Build a floating city, lead the void army to plunder worlds, and grow stronger.

2. Farm, develop beliefs, establish a divine kingdom, and establish a divine system.

3. Integrate into the abyss and become an abyss lord

4.?

Above, I hope everyone will speak enthusiastically so that the author can get some inspiration and know what the current market is like.

Last I will take a break before writing again and wait for you suggestions on while which book should I continue.

Very important please vote.
