"Feeling something cold under my feet, I came to my senses and lowered my huge dragon head.

The petite white dragon was blowing cold air at my front right paw, and the icy coldness I felt came from this.

The dragon's claw flicked the White Dragon beast's small forehead, flipping it over and exposing its belly.

The little girl was anxious and struggled hard with her limbs, trying to turn over and fight back against the black-scaled giant beast in front of her. However, the giant beast just used a dragon claw to pin her to the ground, preventing her from moving.

Just when the little girl was about to give up the struggle, I released my dragon claws and gave her freedom.

The freed White Dragon beast took the opportunity to point at my dragon claws and scratched, breathing coldly. From time to time, she opened her mouth full of sharp dragon teeth and took a few bites.

However, no matter how the White Dragon beast attacked me, it could not harm me at all. It could only make me feel a cool and itchy scratching sensation from time to time.

Soon, the White Dragon beast became tired. Breathing and attacking are really draining on stamina.

I teased the little white girl with my dragon claws. After the little girl was irritated, she sprayed two more breaths of cold air on me. Then, no matter how much I teased her, she gave up struggling.

"Haha," I grinned.

"It's almost like raising a pet.

Right now, we're just in the early stages—taming and training. Dragon beasts, in terms of intelligence, are no different from wild animals. Their behavior is primal, instinctual. But if you can rear them, nurture them to maturity, they aren't much different from pets.

That's what separates True Dragons from their lesser kin. The moment a True Dragon hatches from its egg, the very Realm acknowledges them by granting a name, and in that instant, their inheritance memories awaken. They become as intelligent as any human. Few races are gifted with this privilege, Titans being one of the rare exceptions. This intellect is what sets True Dragons apart from Dragon beasts, who are nothing more than creatures in a dragon's skin. Even Half-Dragons look down on them.

But intelligence can be cultivated. Any creature can learn, provided it's strong enough.

So, think of it as a pet! Over time, even without a binding contract, their loyalty grows—strong and unwavering. Betrayal becomes unlikely.

That said, taming a Dragon beast is no easy feat. These creatures are True Dragons who failed to receive the inheritance and thus possess a degraded bloodline, but that doesn't diminish the raw power or pride embedded in their essence. Taming one demands not just strength but also time and patience—a long period of bonding and familiarity.

'Well, the Realm was cruel to you, little one,' I mused, running a clawed hand over the smooth white scales of the dragon beast before me. 'That's why your mother abandoned you. You're lucky she didn't kill you outright. If one of us had been like you, our mother would have certainly done the job. But there's no point lamenting the past. If the Realm won't give you a name, then I shall name you myself.'

I stared at the dragon beast, thinking for a long moment, before a name finally came to mind. My eyes brightened with realization.

"Yes, Eirlys, I will just call you 'Eirlys.' This name is derived from the Welsh word for 'snowdrop' (a flower that blooms in winter), symbolizing purity, elegance, and the cold of winter. It captures the essence of a white dragon's connection to snow, ice, and frost while conveying a sense of grace and strength."

I came up with the name randomly because I thought it would be easy to read and easy to remember.

Although this White Dragon beast is female, the name Eirlys obviously suits her.

Eirlys turned her belly and groaned, her clear and confused eyes unfocused, and she was obviously hopeless.

The sound of footsteps came from the passage of the dragon's nest. One by one, dragon-born maids carried beasts and monsters that had been skinned and washed into the dragon's nest.

After smelling the scent of food, the hungry Eirlys suddenly had the strength to struggle again. However, under the suppression of my dragon claw, no matter how hard she struggled, it was in vain.

The number of dragonborn maids now reaches seventy-six, including sixty-nine humans and seven Aegean half-beasts.

As the head maid, Sophia is obviously very happy about this new group of dragonborn maids. When there were only thirteen maids before, there was simply not enough manpower. The master's increasingly huge dragon body and appetite made the dragonborn maid group feel overwhelmed, even with the help of ten male servants.

The valets can only help with food preparation, but cannot intervene in other aspects, such as massage. What's more, I can't tolerate a group of big men crawling around on me or staring at my girls with their lustful eyes.

But there's no need to worry now. The maid group has expanded five or six times, and there will be enough manpower for a long time.

Even now there is an additional foodie among the maid group's service recipients.

After the food is roasted, the maids in pairs carry the roasted whole cow, roasted lamb, roasted whole pig, etc., in front of the master and the White Dragon beast Eirlys.

Only then did I let go of Eirlys's claws.

Without the giant claw to suppress her, Eirlys rushed to the Dragonborn maids with a roar and roared a few times to tell them to stay away from her food.

However, these Dragonborn maids were the first ones to follow me. After such a long time, the ones with the worst talents have reached the third order. They are not afraid of Eirlys's threats and intimidation at all. They put down the food calmly and then go back to continue grilling food.

As the lowest among the Chromatic dragons, the White Dragon cannot reach the master level (15th order) when it reaches adulthood at the age of 100. It often takes more than a hundred years to barely reach the master level and become a top monster. This point, the Black Dragon, ranked one above the White Dragon, has a lot to say, because after reaching adulthood at the age of 100, they can just enter the master level.

Needless to say, the other three stronger dragons—the Red Dragon, the Blue Dragon, and the Green Dragon—can easily enter the master level when they reach adulthood. However, because the strength of the templates is different, the strength of the same creature order is also different. Each is different.

The most straightforward comparison is body size. The body length of a newly adult 15th-order Black Dragon is generally about 18 meters, while the body length of a newly adult 15th-order Red Dragon can reach 22 meters. In the same order, the body length is just down a notch in terms of quality.

The dragon's physique is linked to many aspects, such as dragon breath, magic, mana, etc. The stronger the physique, the stronger the power and effect of its use.

The White Dragon, with the worst bloodline, after reaching the 15th order at over a hundred years old, could only reach fifteen or sixteen meters in length.

Having said this, one can understand why the White Dragon is called the shame of the Chromatic dragon, because the White Dragon lags behind the other evil dragons in almost all aspects. Even the fourth-ranked Black Dragon, although it is different from the Red Dragon and Blue Dragon, it's not a small gap, but at least it's not too exaggerated.

After eating, Eirlys found a place to lie down in the corner of the thorn dragon's lair carved from the boulder, squinted her eyes, and fell into a deep sleep.

Although her IQ is that of a beast, Eirlys also knows how to follow her instincts to sleep and digest flesh and blood, thereby gaining strength more quickly.

Previously, Eirlys lived in the northern ice field and basically had not enough to eat. She was hungry nine out of ten days. Coupled with her slow growth, she faced the danger of death several times. Now that she has arrived in a new place, although she was ravaged by a terrifying black-scaled beast every day, she had enough food, and every time she woke up after eating a lot of food, she could clearly feel that her strength had improved.

The most important thing is that she no longer has to worry about dangers that may come at any time.

Eirlys chose to resist the black-scaled behemoth just because she felt that the black-scaled behemoth liked the feeling of defeating her. It was not that she was really stupid and seeking death. Even real beasts know how to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages.

How could a Dragon Beast not understand?

In its not-so-smart mind, it vaguely understood that this might be the price it had to pay for food and safety.

Time passes slowly.

One month, two months passed in the blink of an eye, and more than a year passed.

---

Wilderness Plains, South, Prolos Town.

After a year and a half of development, Prolos Town, which was originally just a wasteland, now has a population of five to six thousand, with numerous houses, taverns, charming streets, weapons shops, adventurer guilds, etc.

And all this is thanks to the Sieglinde family's heavy investment here.

Among them, the most prominent industries are weapon shops and adventurer guilds.

The various ores transported by the Sieglinde family from the Dark Forest, coupled with the recruitment and training of blacksmiths, created a large amount of equipment and weapons, and the prices were very affordable, which was very popular among adventurers.

Naturally, the arrival of a large number of adventurers also promoted the development of the Adventurer Guild.

However, in addition to weapons, another more important reason that really allowed Pros Town to obtain the title of Adventurer Town in just over a year is that the Sieglinde family controls the power of a large number of centaurs in the Dark Forest as a base of influence.

After the end of the Wasteland War, the kingdom and principality did not let go of this potential threat so easily. It didn't take long for the various adventurer unions to issue centaur hunting missions.

The rewards for the missions are extremely generous.

---

The surrounding shops are almost all for adventurers, including weapon shops, enchantment shops, taverns, style shops, material shops, casinos, and pharmacy shops.

There was an endless stream of adventurers coming and going, in small groups. Those wearing leather armor, armor, daggers and machetes at their waists, bows, big swords, longswords, rapiers, saps, short swords, short bows, whips, crossbows, daggers, quarterstaffs, staffs, wands, heavy hammers, and many types of short-range and long-range weapons hanging on their backs. There are also a few adventurers who ride monsters and walk on the street with their heads held high. When they encounter this kind of monster, everyone will tacitly get out of the way.

It's not that they are afraid of monsters. How can an adventurer who licks blood off his knife and kills monsters every day be afraid of prey?

Mainly, they are afraid of getting into trouble.

To have a monster mount, the first prerequisite is to be able to afford the contract. Otherwise, it's just a monster. Intermediate monsters can't be easily defeated, but ordinary low-order monsters can be.

It is because the contract parchment is very expensive and relatively rare. Generally speaking, a contract parchment that can contract low-order monsters requires an intermediate spell caster plus a proficient level in low-level contract spells to make it. Neither of these two conditions is simple, especially the former. Intermediate spellcasters can easily obtain nobility and even territories in any human country, and low-level contract magic is a rare spell among second-tier spells, and its value is basically the same as ordinary third-tier spells.

An eye-catching team appeared on the streets of Adventurer Street. There were five people, four men and one woman. The armors and weapons they wore were all enchanted equipment with subtle fluctuations in magic power. What was striking was that they all rode a giant blue wolf.

These giant cyan wolves are very similar to the monster wind wolves. The wind wolf is an adult third-order monster with the spell-like ability "Wind Blade." However, it is somewhat different from the ordinary wind wolf, which is over three meters tall. The wind wolf under these five adventurers is larger, almost four meters tall, larger than a bison. The muscles hidden under the thick green fur are constantly squirming and changing as they move around, containing amazing explosive power.

"Is this a storm wolf?" On the street, a knowledgeable and experienced adventurer's pupils shrank slightly, and he couldn't help but take a few steps back to avoid this group of people.

An adventurer who was chatting with him subconsciously hid further when he saw his companion's appearance and asked curiously,

"Aren't those the wind wolves? They look bigger, so they should be elite individuals among the wind wolves. What kind of monster are the storm wolves you are talking about?"

After watching the group of people walk away, the experienced adventurer rolled his eyes at his companion and said proudly, "So you have little knowledge. The storm wolf is not a monster in the Dark Forest, but a powerful creature from the far north, a type of wolf monster.

This kind of monster can reach sixth order as an adult! It's not something that a third-order wind wolf cub can match. Next time I take you to the north, don't rush up to this giant cyan wolf when you see it. Every year, there are some newcomers from other places who take risks. They mistake storm wolves for wind wolves and die tragically."

The companion's eyes widened, and there were only four words in his mind: "6th order monster!"

Adventurers who can hunt and kill monsters of this rank are, without exception, the elites. Most adventurers who encounter monsters of this order can basically just wait for death. If they want to survive, they often see if they have many companions and whether they can run faster than their companions.

In this way, when the monster is full or killed, it may not be able to or want to follow you anymore.

"It's quite lively here." The middle-aged man riding the largest storm wolf looked around with some surprise.

"According to the information given by the employer, this place was just a wasteland a year and a half ago. It seems that the Sieglinde family behind it is not simple."

"I feel like we have taken on a very troublesome commission." The only female adventurer in the five-person team said with a frown.

"Sister Marcy, we are members of the Wolf Adventure Group. Even the dangerous mission of defeating high-order monsters can be successfully completed. The Sieglinde family is just a newly promoted earl family, and it is still a backward southern principality. It's not an empire earl, you are too cautious."

A young man in the team with beautiful short purple hair and a black dagger in his left hand was spinning and playing with a smile.

"Osay, there's nothing wrong with being careful. Have you forgotten the lesson you learned before?" Marcy said calmly.

The lesson she was talking about was an intermediate commission they accepted half a year ago, "Hunting the Man-Faced Spider." They thought it would be simple, but they didn't expect to fall into the trap of the Man-Faced Spider. They were poisoned and almost died, and this could have been avoided, just because of carelessness.

Marcy's words reminded Osay of the fear of being dominated by a man-faced spider. His face darkened, he closed his mouth, and stopped talking.

"Okay, once the mission begins, stop talking loudly and be careful of your surroundings." The middle-aged leader spoke.

Their conversation just now was limited to a certain area around them, and when the adventurers on the side looked at them, they could only see the five of them with their mouths closed and their expressions indifferent.

This is a simple application of the two zero-tier spells, Silence and Confusion. The one who cast the spell was Master Shota, who was the short one in the team and looked like he was still underage.

In fact, Master Shota is already in his forties. His appearance is due to the fact that he is a rare Halfling Mage.
