The sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm glow through the windows of U.A. High School. The hallways buzzed with the chatter of students, their laughter and conversations creating a symphony of youthful energy. But in the teacher's lounge, the atmosphere was anything but cheerful.
"All Might, what is she talking about?" Midoriya's voice broke through the tension, his face a portrait of confusion and concern.
I turned to him, my anger barely contained. "You always told me growing up that I would be your successor, that I'd receive half of your power until I was ready for all of it. Now I get to Japan and find out that the other half was given to this broccoli head?"
Midoriya's eyes widened, his confusion turning to frustration. "Hey, I'm sorry, but is it my fault that All Might prefers a stronger, faster, smarter, and more attractive individual unlike yourself?"
"In your dreams, chia pet," I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "I bet you need a microscope to see your dick."
He chuckled lowly, stepping closer. "You must be thinking of Bakugo." He leaned in, his voice dropping to a whisper. "By the way you've been eyeing me, I know you know it's nowhere near small."
My eyes widened in surprise, heat rising to my cheeks. I turned away, trying to mask my embarrassment with anger.
"Okay, that's enough!" Toshinori's voice boomed, commanding attention as he stood up. "This is ridiculous; you two are arguing for nothing."
I rolled my eyes, dropping onto the couch behind me and muttering under my breath, "Imbécil arrogante."
"Now, Ehro, I know you're mad, but it's almost my time, and I felt two successors were better than one," Toshinori sighed, his voice softening. "Besides, you two could be great partners. That's the main reason your dad and I fought for you to be here."
Midoriya and I exchanged a glance, our mutual disdain momentarily eclipsed by surprise. "Partners? No way!"
Toshinori chuckled, his form shifting into the imposing figure of All Might. "Yes, way! Look, I have work to do before lunch ends, and you two have class in 15 minutes. Get out of the teacher's lounge and get acquainted!"
"Toshi, there's no way in hell you're leaving me here with him!" I shouted towards the door as he walked out into the hall.
I sighed, crossing my arms and staring out the window, trying to calm the storm of emotions raging inside me.
"You gonna stand there, looking out the window like we're in a movie, or are you gonna come on so I can walk you to your locker?" Midoriya's voice broke the silence. He stood by the door, a smirk playing on his lips.
I rolled my eyes, reluctantly following him out of the lounge. "I can walk myself to my locker."
He chuckled, falling into step beside me. The hallways were empty, giving us a rare moment of privacy in the bustling school.
"Nice ass." He poked the side of my thigh, making me jump and move away from him.
"You know, your demeanor does not project your asshole-ish personality," I muttered, trying to maintain some distance.
He chuckled again, pointing to a locker. "I think I'm more blunt than asshole-ish, but this is your locker."
"How do you know this is my locker?" I crossed my arms, glaring at him.
He smirked, holding up a sticky note that read: 'Ehro's locker number: 0713.'
I rolled my eyes, opened the locker, and threw my backpack inside. I took a few drawings out, carefully placing them on the inside of the locker door. The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and I grabbed the books I needed for my next class. As I turned around, I saw Midoriya waving at a few girls, their giggles and swoons making me cringe. Even so, I got it. He acknowledged them with such confidence, despite often giving off that innocent demeanor. His green curls were slightly tousled, and he chuckled at some of the remarks thrown at him by the girls walking past, lifting his head ever so slightly.
As much as I wanted to dislike him, the way he laughed sent chills down my spine. The way his emerald eyes glimmered with mischief as he flirted with the girls walking down the hall. I rolled my eyes at my cursed thoughts. Don't get me wrong, the boy was gorgeous, but from what I could see, he was an arrogant, self-centered ass. He soon turned around, looking me up and down. I raised an eyebrow at him. He closed my locker, backing me against it slowly. I clutched my books, looking up at him, his expression of boredom replaced with seriousness.
He placed his hands over my head, not breaking eye contact. He licked his lips before he spoke. "Look, I know we just met, but I need to ask for a favor."
To say the least, I was a bit surprised. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "You?" I pointed at his chest. "You need a favor from me?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I mean, isn't that what I just said?" He looked at me, raising his eyebrows to mimic me.
I slowly shook my head, still confused. "I'm sorry, what?"
He sighed, frowning slightly. "You know, Ehro, I thought you'd be smarter than this."
"First of all, it's Ehrodene to you, and excuse me for not being able to read your mind," I snapped back, slightly glaring at Midoriya.
He just laughed at my expression, causing my frustration to rise.
He leaned in closer to my face, leveling his spring-colored eyes with my own, causing me to furrow my eyebrows once more. "Ehrodene, I. Need. You. To. Do. Me. A. Favor," he enunciated each word like I was some three-year-old with a hearing deficiency.
I scoffed, pushing his face away from mine. "I know what you meant, dipshit."
The infamous chuckle escaped from his lips again. I pushed his arms down, shaking my head. "Regarding this favor of yours, I'm gonna have to pass."
He smirked slightly. "You haven't even heard the proposal yet."
He looked over at me as he opened the locker to my left. I frowned, a bit disappointed that he was my locker neighbor. "I don't need to hear your 'proposal.' From what I've gathered in the last two hours, you seem like the 'I can get any girl I want' type, and the only reason you would want the new girl to do this favor is that you want another girl wrapped around your finger."
He smirked, side-eyeing me. "Seems to me like you know you'd be easy to wrap around my finger."
I threw my right hand up in frustration, leaning against my locker. "Look, Midoriya, I'm not sleeping with you if that's what you're implying." I clutched my books again, looking over at him.
He closed his locker and looked over at me. The sound of laughter emerged from his mouth. My frustration levels rose as he laughed, feeling a bit insulted. "Trust me, that's not what I was implying." He held his stomach with his free hand.
I blushed a bit in embarrassment, kind of hurt by how insulting his laugh was. "Don't get me wrong, you're cute, but I'm not interested in you like that," he said between laughs.
I rolled my eyes, almost walking away. Of course, he's attractive look-wise, but insinuating that I wanted to sleep with him was not my intention. Like, I get we're both horny teenagers, but I'd prefer not to.
"Again, that wasn't the favor I wanted to ask you, but if that's on your mind, it could surely be arranged," he smirked, placing his hands over my shoulders against my locker, leaning closer to my face.
I felt my cheeks get warm, but I shook my head, scoffing at my reaction. "Hold up, playboy, you have yet to be a thought in my brain, let alone a good one."
He moved away, smirking, casually winking at the girl who just walked by. He turned his attention back to me. "But, in all honesty, I do need a favor from you," he said, his facial expression becoming more serious.
I looked up at him, tilting my head in curiosity. "What exactly is this favor?"
"Okay, um..." His misleading, shy demeanor appeared once again, his arms crossed, flexing his muscles a bit.
"Spit it out, or we're gonna be late." I looked up at him, getting ready to walk away.
"Okay, I need you to be my girlfriend."My eyes widened as I looked at him. "What?"
"You heard me," he said, his voice steady. "I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend."

"I'm sorry, what?" I choked on my spit.
Midoriya laughed slightly, rubbing the back of his neck, taken aback by my reaction. I coughed hard, feeling like my lungs were about to fall out of my mouth.
He slowly moved to my side, awkwardly patting my back. "Are you okay?" he asked, concern lacing his voice.
I composed myself, clearing my throat after coughing too much. I turned towards him, furrowing my eyebrows. "You can't be serious. You, the 'It' boy, asking the new girl for this strange ass favor? It seems a bit suspicious."
Midoriya sighed, looking me directly in the eyes. "I'm dead serious, Ehrodene. This isn't a joke."I scoffed, grabbing my books and shoving past him.
"Let's play a prank on the new girl. Great first impression, huh?"
He caught up with me, blocking my path. "Wait! Please, just hear me out."
I studied his face, searching for any signs of deceit. Instead, I saw genuine desperation. "You're serious, aren't you?" I asked, my tone softening.
He nodded, just as the bell rang. "We need to get to class."I tried to move past him, but he grabbed my arm, pulling me in the opposite direction.
"What the hell are you doing?" I tried to shake off his grip.
"Just listen," he pleaded, finally letting go. "I know you're the new girl, and you probably think I'm just some jerk, but if this wasn't serious, I wouldn't be asking you."
"Are you sure this isn't a joke?" I raised an eyebrow, clutching my books.
"I swear," he said, crossing his heart dramatically."Fine, I'll consider it,"
I sighed, walking past him. He smirked, walking next to me. "See, that wasn't so bad, was it?"
We walked into the classroom together, drawing the attention of our classmates and our teacher, Aizawa.
"Midoriya, Wright, you're late," Aizawa said, glaring at us.
"We're aware, Sensei," Midoriya responded nonchalantly, taking his seat behind Bakugo.
"Why?" Aizawa leaned against the podium, eyes on us.
"She's the new girl. I was showing her around campus, but we lost track of time," Midoriya explained, flipping through his notebook.
Aizawa sighed and continued with the lesson. I took my seat next to Todoroki, trying to avoid the stares. He handed me his notes, and I sent him a grateful smile, quickly copying them down.
"Made headway with Midoriya already?" Todoroki asked, smirking. I shook my head, laughing quietly.
"Tell you after school?"
"Definitely. I'll drive you to the dorms myself," he replied, intrigued.

After class, I rushed to my locker, hoping to avoid Midoriya. But as I was putting my books away, I heard my locker slam shut beside me.
"Jesus Christ, maldito imbécil!" I yelped, turning to face Midoriya.
He laughed at my reaction. "I'm sorry, I just thought this was a good opportunity to scare the living shit out of you."
"Very funny," I replied, rolling my eyes. "I decided I'll help you out with this 'girlfriend' thing."
"Really? That was fast. Am I that attractive?" he teased.
"Don't push it," I said, flicking his forehead. "I'm just being nice."
He smiled, handing me my phone after putting his number in it. "Text me later."
Before I could respond, a girl with dark hair walked by. "Heyyyy Deku!" she called out, switching her hips seductively.
Midoriya smirked, "I gotta go. But text me." He ran to catch up with the girl, leaving me alone.
I sighed and walked down the hall, bumping into a rather hard chest. I looked up, seeing Todoroki. "Jeez, is it 'Scare the New Girl Day'?" I exclaimed.
He chuckled, patting my head. "Ready to go?"I nodded, relieved.
He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, shaking me slightly. "You seem stressed."
"I am," I admitted, laughing softly as we walked to the parking lot.
~
"Aye, you seemed stressed, mamí," a boy with dark hair and a slim build said, leaning against a car.
"Damn, is it that obvious?" I whispered, looking at Todoroki, who nodded.
"Yeah, mamíta, qué pasa? Con quien tengo que pelear?" the boy asked, grabbing my hand.
"Um, did he just speak fluent Spanish, or am I trippin'?" I looked at Todoroki, confused.
A girl with pink hair walked up behind us, wrapping her arm around me.
"Yep, bootleg Spidey here is from the DR. Well, his mom is."I laughed softly. "I'm Mina."
"Nice to meet you," I said, shaking her hand.
She points at the dark-haired boy again, walking us to the side of the car, "And that nutcase is Hanta Sero, but we just call him Sero."
All of us get in, Mina and I in the backseat, Sero in the front, and Todoroki driving, As we pull off, Sero turns around in his seat to face me.
"So, Ehrodene, you never answered my question."
"Oh, well, you don't have to fight anybody, I just had an interesting day I guess." I laugh awkwardly, pulling out my phone.
Sero raised an eyebrow, "Interesting day, huh? How exactly."
"Sero, shut up." Both Mina and Todoroki said in unison. I laughed as Mina flicked his forehead and pulled out her phone.
Sero then rubbed his forehead, turning back around in his seat.
He raised an eyebrow, turning his head towards Todoroki, "Would you happen to know what was so 'interesting' since you guys are so 'buddy-buddy' now."
Todoroki kept his eyes on the road, slapping the back of Sero's head and tossing his phone in his lap, "I have yet to find out, but unlike you, I'm not gonna badger her to tell me. Now shut up and play something."
I laughed as Mina flicked his forehead. Sero turned back around, playing music on his phone. We all sang along to the song, and I checked my messages, noticing a new contact name that seemed familiar.

Hello?
...
~
"So, Ehro, what happened between you and Midoriya today?" Todoroki asked, pulling into the dorms. I looked up from my phone, contemplating whether to tell the truth or come up with an excuse. Just as I was about to respond, my phone vibrated again.

Hello?
What's up, beautiful?
~
I sighed, realizing this was only the beginning. "I'll explain everything later," I said, getting out of the car.Todoroki nodded. "Sure thing. Just know you can count on us."I smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. As we walked to the dorms, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was the start of something big.
