With a flick of her wrist, Elera caused the vine to tighten and tug, tripping the troll. It let out a surprised grunt and fell heavily to the ground. As it struggled to stand, she used her magic to animate more vines, which snaked out from the forest floor to entangle its limbs, binding it in place. The troll roared in frustration, yanking at the restraints, but the vines held firm.
Elera knew she needed to act quickly before the troll broke free. She scanned the clearing and spotted a large, overhanging branch above the troll. Concentrating hard, she channeled her energy into the tree, urging it to bend and sway. The branch creaked and groaned, then snapped, plummeting down to strike the troll on the head. The impact dazed the creature, momentarily halting its struggles.
