Vynira ducked low, narrowly avoiding Turog's spear. She spun, and her dagger slashed toward his exposed leg, but Turog was quick, turning to block with the shaft of his spear.
"You should've stayed hidden, little girl," Turog sneered, pressing forward with a series of precise jabs.
Vynira didn't respond to his mocking jab, her focus was entirely on the rhythm of the fight. She parried another thrust of his spear, her dagger striking sparks against the spearhead.
Meanwhile, Damien soon saw his opening. With a surge of primal energy, he feinted to the left before slamming the hilt of Nightshade into Harnne's jaw.
The tribal leader staggered backwards, momentarily dazed and lightheaded, and Damien seized the opportunity to deliver a sharp kick to his chest, sending him crashing into the undergrowth.
