A loud squeaking sound from the door and series of footsteps made almost everyone jump up out of thier sleeping bags, two blood band members had barged in on us to wake us all up and they weren't trying the slightest to do it politely .
"Wake up sluggards it's morning already " one of the blood band guy yelled and we all fearfully got up , though i couldn't see his face cause of the mask but I could easily imagine a nasty look of disgust on it .
After all getting up we were led to the showers in the gym locker rooms . we were all split in two groups boys and girls at least they had the courtesy to let both genders have thier bath in different places , while having our baths everyone in the boys shower were also silent no one talk to anyone it all felt like a damn give except for the sizzling sound of water hitting the tiled floor .
"Say bro do you think they're gonna make us play another evil game again today ?" Sanjay asked max quietly as they got out from the showers
"Who knows, I just hope not "
"Humm"
After bath we had breakfast of course this time in the cafeteria then after that we were led back to the grand hall , we were all entirely closely watched during all this trust me no one had the guts to even try to escape . Hours later the grand hall entrance opened again and this time it was the horrror clown who walked in along with two blood band members both holding scary looking rifles , as the horror clown glazed to the podium the eyeballs of every student still alive here in the grand hall followed him full of dread and lots of fear for what might happen next now .
"Ohayo my shinning stars , it's time for game number two . Oh and by the way congratulations to those of you who managed to scale pass the first game , keep the flag flying . " He said so casually and made me question if this guy seriously wasn't some kinda of mentally derailed sadist or this behavior of his was just an act to make us suffer more phycologically .
" This next game is for people with fast reflexes and more importantly efficient time management , I call the game "you're it " . The blood band members are going to err give everyone of you electronic bracelets which would be locked on to the left hands of every player , and by the way you can't remove it no matter how much yerr try so don't bother stressing yerrr self for nothing " he said then paused to make a kinda funny face or clown face if I should say , the more I had to put up with this the more I felt like my head was gonna pop .
" These bracelets would have three light spaces " the horror clown went on with his explanations .
" Which are for red , green and yellow lights . If your bracelet is showing green lights it means you've got time , if it shows yellow light it means your time is reducing and you have to tap another player with green light or also yellow light like yours to add to your time . The player you tap would go back by one light space for instance if it were green it would go back to yellow , or if it's yellow it would go to red . And here's the bummer if your light is red then you would be killed by any blood band member who spots you so you quickly have to tap some one with green or yellow light before you're caught . That's all simple isn't it ? " He explained and lots of students already had heart broken looks on thier faces I mean why wouldn't they ?
"The game would go on for one hour and thirty minutes after that it's game over , that's all " the horror clown said and with that the blood band members started locking a silver metal bracelet thingy in all our left hands .
When that's was all done the hoorror clown smiled and shouted " The game begins !" before pressing a remote he had in hand and automatically one light randomly flashed on in everyone's bracelet . Some had green lights some had yellow while some other unfortunate kids ...red !
We all started running aways from ourselves as quick as we could .
"Don't you dare come closer ! " Morgan yelled at Charles Edgerton who has red light .
"Arrgh damn you , you freak ! " Charles yelled desperately trying to get a hand to Morgan who swiftly jumped back , then Morgan grabbed the fire extinguisher close to him and hurled it at Charles .
"Come again I'll kill you ! I'll fucking kill you " Morgan said then he felt a pat on the back and his bracelet's light switched from green to red , he swerved around to see who has done it ...it was Justin . He tried tapping him back but Justin was fully prepared as he easily dooged it and ran away .
Seeing the crazy pandemonium going on in the grand hall which was turning to one heck of a war Max had no choice but to dash out of the hall stealthily making sure he made no contact with anyone . He had green lights for now all he had to do was to lay low where no one would find him till the end of this whole circus .
He was running as fast as his legs could go , heavily mounting up the stairs he could have sworn he heard Nina call him but he was too much in a painic to hold up .
Meanwhile Nina was running quickly along with a junior student called Mirabel , they both had green lights and three boys were earnestly chasing after them one of them was Brandon Smith who was part of a deliquent group in school call A.O.S ( age of storm ) when things were still normal . Back then he was always causing trouble for Nina cause he wanted her to be in a relationship with him but she didn't want that not just because she was heavily crushing on Justin but also cause of the fact that she found Brandon's thug Life style highly disgusting and therefore had no interest in him , that didn't stop him from continually chasing after her back then and now he was still doing that's but this time he wasn't doing it to make her his girlfriend but to potentially lead her to death in an attempt to save his own life .
Nina saw max run up the stairs in a pace she had never seen him move in before , max had never striked her as the athletic type since she had known him but the speed he ran at now shocked her maybe it was because of the adrenaline , she called out to him but he didn't stop maybe he didn't hear her
" Help help ! Max max help ! " She kept shouting as she was running from thier chasers who were already catching up , she was running out of energy if this kept up she might slump. She was already way back Mirabel had already gotten a bit ahead of her she needed a diversion to buy her some time .
" Senior ! Move faster they're gonna catch up !" Mirabel said stopping for a while waiting for Nina to catch up ,When Nina got to where Mirabel was waiting the boys had almost gotten to them she had to do something .
"I'm sorry ..I'm I'm sorry " Nina said then she pushed the junior student hardly to the floor with the energy she had left then kept running without looking back even when she heard Mirabel yell out for help when the boys grabbed her , the boys were fighting among theirselves in a struggle for the last tag to have the green light this gave Nina a chance to run really far from them all in search for a hiding spot .
Thirty minutes had passed , max was hiding behind the last edge of the row of lockers in the right hand side of the hallway his bracelet's light had switched from green to yellow on its own his time was reducing he couldn't just hide all day if this kept up his light could turn to red he needed to tag someone to add to his time . He could hear footsteps someone was approaching no wait the person was running and very fastly for that matter towards where he was , at first max wanted to bend low so that the person wouldn't see him but then he looked at his bracelet's light and knew he had to do something . Whosoever was coming had been running for a reason maybe the person's light was on green and now was running from other's .
Max thought of what to do , the footsteps were getting louder now he knew the person was close . It was time for a surprise attack max thought , as the footsteps got to where he was mad barged out with a tremendous amount of speed swiftly hitting the person and without even waiting to see who it was he started running but then he stopped when he realized his lights had switched from yellow to red !
He heard a loud rowl of laughter from the person , he knew that evil laughter too well it was from no other person than snorty chleo.
" What a fool you are max I had been desperately looking for someone to tag , but anyways thanks for being so idiotic " chleo chuckled then dashed off , max was too stunned to even know how to react . He just stared as she eloped with his chances of seeing tommorow .
" Man , I'm fucked ! "
