Seeing the look on her face, Hunter chuckled, "Why do you look like you'd like to tear me apart?"
"You're more perceptive than I gave you credit for," she said and he chuckled.
"Back to my questions. Instead of wasting six months trying to get him to fall for you, why not try to set him up and blackmail him? That would fetch you more money and save your time too," Hunter suggested, wanting to really know how she reasoned and how much she could go to have her way.
Delilah's eyes rounded in disbelief, "Why would I want to do that to him? I don't want to do anything criminal, and I have no reason to blackmail him. He hasn't done anything to deserve such cruelty. Why would you even ask me that?"
