Sabrina stirred awake, feeling the warmth of the morning sun on her face. She stretched, rubbing her eyes before glancing to the side. There, leaning against the headboard with that same infuriating grin, was Alex, staring at her like he did the previous day.
His eyes sparkled with amusement, "Good morning, beautiful," he greeted, and Sabrina could feel a scowl forming on her face.
"Why do you keep doing that?" she asked, her voice groggy. "It's creepy." She muttered.
Alex's grin widened, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. "It's not my fault the only time I can get a good look at you is when you're asleep. That's when you look most attractive."
Sabrina rolled her eyes, pushing herself up on her elbows. "Why would you even need a good look at me? We're fake dating, remember?" She asked, still she had to admit, there was something strangely comforting about having him there.
