The next morning, Sabrina woke up to see Alex lounging next to her, his head propped on one hand and a mischievous smile plastered across his face.
She blinked in surprise, feeling her cheeks flush slightly. "What?" she asked, her voice still heavy with sleep. "Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked, her brows furrowing in confusion as she wondered if she had been snoring or perhaps she had drooled in her sleep.
Alex's grin widened as he shrugged casually. "I was just waiting for you to wake up and throw me out of the room."
Sabrina scowled, "Seriously? Is that what you've been thinking about all this time? Are you always this petty?"
"Yep." He nodded, not a trace of shame in his expression. "I've heard it's part of my charm."
Sabrina scoffed, "There is nothing remotely charming about you," she said with a shake of her head as she pulled herself up to sit on the edge of the bed, her fingers combing through her tousled hair.
