Following Alex's statement, Sabrina scoffed, "Am I supposed to be scared? Where is your professionalism?" she asked, and Alex chuckled.
"I'm talking to my loveless girlfriend right now, not my client," he said, and she snorted.
Sabrina picked up her phone again and resumed scrolling through her Instagram feed, giggling and smiling at cute memes.
After a few minutes of silence, Alex suggested, "We should figure out things we have in common so we can talk more easily."
Sabrina shrugged, still looking at her phone. "Maybe. I doubt I have anything in common with you, though."
As they approached a particularly scenic stretch of road, the sun casting a golden glow over the trees and fields, Alex suddenly pulled the car to a stop.
"Why are we stopping?" Sabrina asked, turning to him with a hint of suspicion as she raised her head from her phone.
