In a broad sense, Regenerative Medicine originally referred to theories, techniques, and surgical operations for tissue regeneration within the body. It can also be considered a discipline that researches how to promote physiological repair for injuries and tissue or organ deficits, as well as how to regenerate tissues and organs and rebuild their functions.
