Yue Yao watched as Han Lingyue and Chu Yi's relationship grew increasingly intimate, and worry filled her heart.
After being sent away, she finally couldn't resist calling Han Likuo.
"Chairman, about this situation," she hesitated. "Do you think we should replace Chu Yi?"
Han Likuo chuckled. "Why would we replace him?"
Yue Yao was taken aback.
Then she heard Han Likuo continue, "Let the young people be. Besides, Chu Yi is quite capable. Even if something happens, it wouldn't be bad. At least I wouldn't have to worry about Lingyue's safety anymore."
Yue Yao's mouth twitched.
Is this really okay? Aren't fathers supposed to look at every boy who gets close to their daughter as if they are looking at a pig? How can you be so open-minded!
Though she couldn't understand his reasoning, Yue Yao didn't presume to overstep her bounds anymore. The father had spoken, so what else was there for her to worry about?
"Alright, Chairman, I understand."
