Li Sheng glared fiercely at Wu Xiaoshan, clutching his injured arm and scuttled away, his appearance dirty and disheveled.
"Xiaoshan, are you alright?"
Xia Xiyao patted her chest, expressing her concern anxiously.
"I'm fine," Wu Xiaoshan shook his head and, looking at the retreating Li Sheng in a sorry state, asked, "Sister Yaoyao, how do you know this guy?"
"Don't mention it."
Xia Xiyao couldn't help but get irritated as soon as the incident was brought up.
"I had an old client who took me to a gym where he worked as a trainer. This guy's no good — he claimed he was pursuing me, but he was actually looking for a wealthy woman. When he heard my business was getting worse, he ditched me and latched onto another rich woman. Now that he's come back to me, it's probably because he's been dumped by someone else."
No wonder Xia Xiyao despised Li Sheng so much; it turned out this guy wanted to mooch off of her.
"Let's not talk about this guy any more, I need to go."
