After finishing his speech, Hua tossed the poker cards to Wang Chen, urging him to deal the cards quickly.
Such eagerness was actually due to his worry that Wang Chen might deliberately delay the game.
The first round of cards had taken nearly eight minutes.
Even though eight minutes wasn't much of an hour, Hua was still concerned that delay might lead to unforeseen changes.
Moreover, the sooner he won against Wang Chen, the sooner he could enjoy Yuer's beauty; so why would he procrastinate?
And Wang Chen was just as Hua had suspected.
He glanced at the clock on the wall and deliberately slowed down, intentionally dragging things out.
But with only six cards in total, even if he slowed down, how slow could he possibly be?
Soon enough, the cards for the second round were dealt.
Hua turned over his three cards swiftly and neatly, apparently not willing to give Wang Chen time for tricks.
