As the chicken thief tumbled down, he happened to press down on a small green snake.
The snake instinctively bit his ankle.

He then exploded in curses, "I'm really fucking unlucky, all I did was steal a couple of chickens. First, I tumble down the slope and then this little beast bites me. Do you really think I'm easy to bully?"
The villagers often see snakes in the fields or at home.
Most people would avoid them at all costs.
But some who are more daring don't take such creatures seriously, especially those small snakes as thick as a thumb.
These bold individuals sometimes not only won't shy away but would even catch them to cook a pot of snake soup.
And this chicken thief was clearly one with exceptional skills and courage.
In his anger, he immediately bent down and pinched the snake at its vital point.
After getting a hold of it, he killed the snake with a stone.
