Then, Zhang Xiaowei and Lu Xueyou got on the pickup truck.
Watching the two of them, Li Nan let out a gloomy sigh and waved goodbye.
"Then, take it easy on the way back."
Seeing his friend's desolate figure, Lu Xueyou felt troubled but still pleaded with Zhang Xiaowei on his behalf.
"Xiaowei, can you give Li Nan another chance? I'm clear about his character. He probably said what he did today because he'd been scared by those shady brokers. He's definitely up to the job you're offering."

"Who said I'm not giving him a chance? He's the one who didn't get on the truck. Do I have to personally invite him aboard now?"
Lu Xueyou was stunned for a moment, then quickly recovered his senses and happily ran off the truck to chase after Li Nan.
