Zhang Xiaowei, who often encountered trouble, became alert at once.
As he turned his head sharply, he saw a group of people at the door staring straight at him.
Could they be in cahoots with the couple from the clothing store?
They had arrived too quickly.
Without much thought, Zhang Xiaowei got up at once.
"Gu Sui, you stay here,"
he said, and then headed straight for the door.
"Kid, good to see you know what's good for you. Come out, my brother Lu wants to have a word with you!"
The young man in the lead said, threatening Zhang Xiaowei with his eyebrows raised.
Zhang Xiaowei gave him a cold glance and walked straight out of the shop.
"Who the hell are you?"
Outside the door, a young man with sunglasses and a toothpick in his mouth, head cocked to one side, asked in a sly tone.
Zhang Xiaowei sized him up; the man had brought only three others with him.
"Cut the crap, just say what you want to do,"
Zhang Xiaowei said, clearly not taking him seriously.
