Zhang Xiaowei and Gu Sui, though from the same village,
didn't play together as kids due to a four or five-year age gap and weren't very familiar with each other.
There was still some awkwardness between them.
"Gu Sui, I don't have anything else on inside, isn't this a bit improper?"
Gu Sui, her face flushed, gave him a white look and said irritably, "Fine, you stand and I'll sew for you."
She then took out a sewing kit from her bag.
The clothes she had bought before were usually from street stalls and often had stitching issues.
Therefore, she always kept a sewing kit in her bag, to fix any emergencies that might arise.
With needle and thread ready, Gu Sui approached Zhang Xiaowei.
As she slowly prepared to squat down, she realized that her tight, long skirt wrapped around her legs made it impossible to do so.
"No, I have to take this skirt off."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Xiaowei rolled his eyes and said, "Gu Sui, why don't you just lift up your skirt, that might work."
