Not far away was a luxurious-looking hotel.
Zhang Xiaowei had just parked the car when Liang Jing anxiously stopped him.
"Xiaowei, didn't you say we were short on money? This hotel looks expensive. Let's find a different one," she said.
Zhang Xiaowei nonchalantly waved his hand and replied, "What time is it now? Searching for another hotel will take forever, and it will be daylight by the time we find one."
Liang Jing had no choice but to follow Zhang Xiaowei out of the car.
They checked into a room and went straight to rest.
As soon as they entered, Liang Jing became anxious again.
"Xiaowei, why is there only one bed?" she asked.
Zhang Xiaowei sneaked a mischievous smile. It wasn't a deliberate set-up; it was just that the hotel had only this last room available.
"Jing, we've shared a bed before. What's there to fuss about?" he said.
At his words, Liang Jing blushed but knew it was true.
