"Mind your own business." Yu Ling immediately frowned, still disdainful toward Jian Xi, "What do you understand? You're like a delicate flower in a greenhouse!"
Jian Xi felt awkward and explained, "It was a doctor that Mufeng knows who said it."
"Rui Kun?" Yu Ling was startled.
"Yes." Jian Xi nodded her head, lying with a straight face.
Yu Ling fell silent for a moment before asking, "How would he know about my business?"
"Mufeng told him."
Yu Ling's heart jolted violently. Did her son secretly care about her?
Jian Xi looked at Yu Ling, the corners of her mouth lifted slightly. There were no overnight feuds between mother and son; Yu Ling loved Nan Mufeng. A small gesture of concern was beginning to melt her.
Well, this was a good sign, she had to keep up the effort, determined to break the ice between Nan Mufeng and Yu Ling!
Yu Ling lowered her eyes and picked up the book she had put down, pretending to continue reading: "My affairs, you don't need to worry about."
