The group of zombies traced a large arc around the sandy area, Xiao Buli guessed they must have known the range of the quicksand and avoided it. In front of Xiao Buli, a relatively large sand dune soon appeared, but compared to the surrounding yellow sand, this dune seemed still, as if rooted in place. The reason being that while not all desert dunes are constantly shifting, the yellow sand elsewhere would sometimes be stirred up by the north wind, yet the sand grains on this dune appeared to cling to it, immobile.
Xiao Buli couldn't help but reach out to touch it, feeling like he was touching rock.
"This is fixed, a system-designed landscape, so it's different from the other sand," Bai Yunfei explained.
