Xiao Buli turned misfortune into fortune. His already powerful pet, the Lava Giant Python, was strengthened into a Giant Dragon after obtaining the body of the Demon Star. Once its True Origin Points fully recovered, Xiao Buli set off on his journey again.
The rest of the road was not much different than before, but this time, with the Lava Giant Dragon, Xiao Buli would summon it every time they encountered monsters in order to understand its skills and attributes. For one, the frequent contact between the man and dragon would foster their bond, and secondly, it provided an opportunity to evaluate the dragon's strength. After several encounters, Xiao Buli was almost certain he had acquired a treasure. Monsters in the Barbaric Wastelands almost only had the option to flee upon seeing the Giant Dragon. Occasionally, one or two stronger ones would barely manage to fight it, but they wouldn't last more than a minute before ending up in the dragon's stomach.
