Amanda's heart jolted, and she let go of her palm to escape from that corpse, but just at that moment, the highly swollen body suddenly opened its eyes.
"What are you doing?"
"It was you who kept pulling on me..."
Immediately after, it seemed as if something inside the corpse was squirming, stretching the skin to near transparency, and then it exploded with a loud bang.
Crackling!
Amanda didn't wait for the filth from the corpse to get close; she preemptively released the energy within her body, a wall of flames springing up in front of her that swept away the flesh as it tried to approach.
Through the flames, Amanda saw a familiar face drifting out from the corpse's head.
"A powerful female sorceress..."
"Tsk, tsk."
Before the other could continue speaking, Amanda suddenly extended her left hand, the fire from in front of her wrapping around her palm, then she grabbed the face that was drifting out from the head with incredible speed.
