The Witch twisted her waist, her smile neither warm nor genuine, as she looked at Azumani.
"Could it be that waste outside?"
"If I'm not mistaken, he's probably become a pile of flower soil by now."
"Hmm, maybe a few bones left."
"Oh right, and those little mice that burrowed in from the ground, such fools, they didn't even require my intervention."
Azumani's face slightly changed, the Witch seemed to have guessed his thoughts even before he acted.
"Want to open this door? You can try."
She smiled charmingly.
"You can only die here."
"If we die, there would be no one left to disturb the sleeping princess, nor anyone to awaken her, right?" Roger suddenly interjected.
"Oh?"
Surprise flashed across the woman's face as she looked at Roger with a hint of astonishment.
"You really are not simple."
"Did I unintentionally reveal a flaw?"
"A flaw..." Roger feigned a thoughtful expression.
