A quiet seaside town.
One hundred years ago, it had been under the domain of a Great Noble. Due to its remote location and lack of information, the town's urban development lagged behind that of the surrounding areas.
However, the lack of factories meant the town's environment and geographical structure were preserved to the greatest extent.
Gradually, it became a sanctuary for tourists.
There were towering churches and mottled castles, even the streets at the town's center bore traces of the scenery from a century past.
Walking down these streets, it felt as though one had traveled back in time to the last century.
As night fell, the hustle and bustle of the day faded, leaving the town with the stillness of a lake.
"I'm sorry, but we've closed for the day."
At a street-side cafe, a middle-aged man with a beard was wiping a glass, saying so without lifting his head.
"I'm here to meet an old friend."
