June 6, Thursday.
Ye Luo got out of the rideshare car and looked around.
He hadn't known that there were places like this around Jinghai!
This appeared to be an ancient town with a rich history, white walls and black tiles, small bridges over flowing water, the mottled marks on the walls telling tales of historical vicissitudes. The entire town seemed serene and leisurely.
It made Ye Luo feel somewhat uncomfortable, wondering if he had come to the wrong place.
He checked his phone again, no mistake, this address sent by Chairman Li was indeed here!
This should be a small town under Jinghai's jurisdiction, called Nantang Ancient Town. Among the many ancient towns in the country, it hardly ranked, and definitely couldn't be considered a tourist attraction.
It had some renown in the region around Jinghai, but nationally, it was far from famous.
Ye Luo was somewhat puzzled. Hadn't Chairman Li said they were going to discuss a partnership? Why come to a place like this?
