January 25th, Thursday.
Two days after its release, discussions about "Walking with Darkness" online had noticeably increased.
Players began to gradually discern some of the endings as well.
"Walking with Darkness," the complete gameplay process, wasn't actually very long; even including all those falls and defenses getting breached, it basically took about a dozen hours to clear the game.
This was partly because Studio 404's current development capabilities were limited, and partly because of the game's nature—it wasn't suitable to make the process too extended.
The current length of the game could ensure that new players had a dozen hours of horrific experience in their first run and allowed speedrunners to compress the game time within two hours or even an hour and a half, both durations just right.
And online, players also began to discuss the game's plot and the conditions for achieving different endings.
