"From heaven or the edge of heaven..."
Aurora often heard her father hum this rhyme when she was a child, and only when she begged for knowledge would her father tell her that it was about an organization of New Humans that had existed long ago.
People in that organization were all naive and cute children, yearning for freedom and liberation, longing to live unfettered in the city.
They were the original New Humans.
But the later parts of the story, Aurora never heard, as her father would always find various reasons to stop halfway.
Aurora could clearly feel that her father seemed to have a sense of nostalgia for that organization.
The New An Bureau was founded by her father and mother when they were together, and by this time, rather than leading the New Humans towards a better life as envisioned, the New An Bureau was more about restraining and controlling the New Humans.
