Birds chirped outside the window, and Durin opened his eyes, feeling the person beside him leaving.
He turned his head and saw Ailish's jade-like figure, her back to him, sneakily trying to get out of bed.
Durin stretched out his hand and grabbed the girl's wrist, "It's still early."
Then he used his tail to entangle the girl's waist as well.
Indeed, it was early, the sky was just beginning to light up; there was no point in getting up now, Durin thought, as he yawned widely.
"If we don't get up early to clean the sheets with a spell formula and take a proper bath, we'll miss breakfast," Ailish said, bowing her head to kiss Durin on the forehead, "Be good."
All right, Durin obediently got up, and while Ailish was dealing with the sheets, he prepared the hot water in the bathroom.
After showering and dressing in freshly magically-cleaned clothes, Durin opened the door.
