"Are we just going to let them take Astrid away?" Lina couldn't hold back any longer and stood up as the group left.
"The team had one Legendary and three Semi-legendary members." Durin said, looking at his hands clenched tight, "Lina, you can take care of yourself, but the problem is the two of us... we can't protect everyone."
"So that's why you sent Anta and Irene to the Mage Tower for further training?" Tanya asked.
Durin nodded, "As the younger generation, we are indeed strong, but in the grand scheme of the world, our strength is still too meager. If a real fight had broken out today, you could've fled, and Lina and I might have managed to fight our way out, but Alice, Melinda, Xialu, and Maria would have all fallen here. I can't bear that thought, even if one day I were to annihilate the entire Kriegern Family and put all of those who stood here today to the sword... this knot in my heart would still not unravel."
