When returning home at noon, Astrid echoed Rabin's unspoken thoughts.

"He has cried all his tears, how pitiful," said Astrid, while gazing into the distance of the street.

The early winter snow had fallen, turning the world white.

"This is what a fatal separation means, the embodiment of fate's unpredictability."

Durin held Astrid's hand with one of his while carrying both their schoolbags in the other, as Kelsey watched over the little bear, preventing it from running around.

"I always thought the world of a child was filled with hardship, but I never imagined the adult world to be just as bitter," Astrid suddenly remarked.

"The fact that you can think like this means you have grown up, Astrid," sighed Durin.

"Yes, I want to grow up and be able to help everyone. That's what my sisters always say." Astrid then looked at Durin, "Mr. Durin, can you teach me how to use Spiritual Energy?"
