The Eternal Blaze Nest was really quite high.
It had to be, since it was the first Mage Tower of the Eternal Forge Fortress to be put into use, the tallest building upon the fortress's highest cliff.
Initially, it served as a rest stop for the Grassland Elves' Mage Corps, but as larger Mage Towers were constructed, this one perched atop the cliff gradually fell into disuse—too high for the mages, who preferred not to climb the cliff just to rest.
Later, the Mage Tower was converted into an outpost to observe marine conditions.
However, with the Human World's fleet growing increasingly powerful, no fleet of Green-skinned Orcs had dared to directly challenge the fortress for a hundred years.
Thus, the tower was abandoned once again.
