"You are indeed magnanimous," Sir Karl said with a smile as he approached Durin, his presence causing the little brats below to start minding their manners somewhat.
At least the young girls no longer dared to blatantly call out for Durin to notice them.
Durin smiled at Sir Karl. "We are all peers here; feel free to speak and ask anything." Then he turned to the red-robed mages below, "Do any of the high order mages have any other questions?"
"I heard you can craft weapons. Can you give us a treat for our eyes?" A halfling had stepped forward to ask.
Halflings, eh? Always so curious, the majority of them die foolishly—it's curiosity that kills them.
But no matter, this time Durin was going to satisfy his curiosity.
With a stretch of his hand, Durin summoned several ingots that flew out from his workshop behind him.
Durin opened his hand, and a faint blue flame appeared in his palm.
