In mid-January, just a few days shy of Chinese New Year, Durin finalized the most complete version of the project.
Unless there was something else to be changed, this was essentially the final version.
With that in mind, Durin called over the folks from the Church of Suffering to let them evaluate it, and then he started preparing for the New Year.
The members of the Church of Suffering also said they would provide feedback to Durin after the New Year—as strict as the Church might be, they couldn't possibly deny a grassland elf their Lunar New Year celebration.
Whoever dared would face collective disdain from the Grassland Elves.
Besides, adding everything up, it was only a month's time. They had already waited for over a month, so allowing everyone more time to discuss and contemplate was a good thing.
