After a busy day, by nightfall, Durin realized he hadn't made much money.
You see, many of the demon hunters who came recently were newbies, and they got their gear from Durin at a discount. Durin just wanted to increase these young people's chances of survival, and he didn't skimp on the materials.
As a result, he earned much less—after all, materials were a part of the costs.
Melinda, although not very good at accounting, had crammed enough recently to at least understand basic math.
She glanced at the figures, slightly confused, "We still made a lot."
"But there are so many more expenses. I really want to rob a gold ingot train," Durin recalled the time he took a train to Copenhagen and the incident that followed.
"That's illegal!" Melinda said angrily, looking at Durin.
"We've broken the law many times already," Durin retorted.
